"I recently had some cleaning done in my house. I used Master tech Professional cleaning to get the job done. Jonathan came out and was very knowledgeable and professional gave me some tips on how to maintain my tile and grout clean which I very much appreciated. He did an excellent job! I’m so very happy with the results. I’m so excited that my tile looks like it was just installed. It looks so new! I’m definitely going to be using his services again."

"She did a fantastic job. We lover her. It was amazing how she paid attention to detail. She looked at our fabric & noticed part of the print could look like a tree or arrow & asked which we wanted. We had never noticed this .Each chair cushion is identical as to where the pattern is. The corners are perfect. The bottom even had markings as to where the screws went. Job done in a short period of time. I already recommended her to a friend."

Furniture Refinishing questions, answered by experts

The cost to professionally refinish hardwood floors averages $1,900. The total project cost typically ranges from $1,100 to $4,500 but can be as low as $600. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $2 and $8, with an average of around $4 per square foot. For example, a small 10x10 foot room may cost $300 to $500, while a large 24x24 foot room could cost $1,750 to $2,900. Key factors influencing the price include the total area size, the floor's current condition, the type of wood, and the refinishing method. Different wood types have different costs; for instance, bamboo is more affordable at $2 to $6 per square foot, whereas maple and mahogany are more expensive at $6 to $8 per square foot. The method also matters: traditional sanding is dustier and costs about $3 to $8 per square foot, while dustless refinishing, which uses a vacuum to collect dust, costs more at $5 to $8 per square foot.

Most bed assemblies take 1-3 hours, depending on design and complexity.

Yes, in most cases it’s a good idea to wrap furniture in plastic to protect it from dirt, dust, and damage during storage. However, natural and porous materials such as wood or leather should have breathable fabric covers to prevent moisture damage from condensation. Either way, it’s always important to ensure proper ventilation to prevent moisture buildup, especially in humid climates.

Regularly check and tighten screws, avoid excessive weight, and clean surfaces with appropriate materials to prevent damage.

Yes, vinegar can remove polyurethane from wood, but it is a slow, inefficient, and inconsistent restoration method. Whatever your intention, it’s best to avoid using vinegar on wood with a polyurethane finish—though it can be an effective cleaner for other wood finishes.
