"Zero stars if it were possible. Harry M came to my home and quoted me 200 dollars and cash was the only payment option he would accept. He came that Saturday and did a horrible job. He used my mower and it’s not working properly now. He didn’t have a working weed wacker and asked for my personal one. He left so many areas undone and I he did report he would come back to finish the job. This never happened; he kept saying he had me scheduled but forgot to tell me. A crew was supposed to come two Saturdays ago and this never happened. He does not respond to text messages. Most importantly, he asked to come to my house to BBQ and to date me. I have text messages to prove this. Even after I declined, he didn’t not understand no after being told several times. There’s a review on another site that doesn’t remove negative feedback and he called that person cursing them out and verbally threatening them. If he does this to me, I will immediately press charges. I’m reporting this fraud anywhere I can until I get my money back from this fraud."

I had outlets that were reading as a hot ground reverse on my multimeter but in fact there was a lost neutral wire that was very difficult to find. They checked all of the outlet wiring in the guest and adjacent rooms and were able to quickly locate the issue in a junction box in the attic. There is no way I could have troubleshooted this myself even after all of the YouTube DIY videos I looked at. The best part was that they came in at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend to others and hire them again for other jobs."

I contacted Pacific Lawn several times to correct the invoice and they insisted that I received 3 METAL heads whereas the invoice billed me for 3 PLASTIC. heads. Most recently my transfer switch was blown out by a power surge during a brown out. Steven and one of his electricians came out on their off time to make sure his customer was taken care of. They do great work, for great prices, and have even better customer service."

"I hired A-1 Electric Co. (in Bridgewater and Warren, NJ) to fix a burnt out junction box behind my wall oven. They were able to promptly schedule my appointment. Two electricians showed up at my house. They were pleasant and did a good job repairing the junction box. They were at my house for about 75 minutes. Unfortunately, I had a concern with their charges and how they handled it. They provided me an estimate beforehand of $295. Their website clearly states the following: "We do not exceed our estimates. We are very good at our estimates. Two things can add to a bill: 1.) additional items that you may add, or: 2.) unsafe wiring that should be corrected. In either case, we'll be speaking to you about it to get your approval. If the work goes better than expected, the bill will be less! Since we always have other customers to see, we don't need to create unnecessary work to fill the day." After the job was completed, they sent me an invoice for $480.96 plus tax (total of $512.82). I was very surprised and disappointed to receive the invoice in this amount. There was no extra or unexpected work that was required on the project. I contacted A-1 to express my dismay about the cost, especially because of the statement on their website about not exceeding their estimates. Their reasoning for the excessive fee was unacceptable to me. I've paid the bill; however, I would not recommend them to anyone, nor would I use them again in the future. I also suggested that they remove the statement from their website about not exceeding their estimates as it is not truthful, and they did not stand by their word."

While wet-rated and damp-rated lighting is designed to handle contact with moisture, there’s a difference between the two. Wet-rated lighting is safety-rated to be placed in areas with direct exposure to water, including your shower. Fixtures classed as wet-rated are made with waterproof seals to protect the filament and other electrical components from water and moisture. 

Damp-rated fixtures can be used in places with some moisture contact, but not direct exposure. They don’t have the same waterproof seals used in wet-rated fixtures. Damp-rated lighting can be used on your bathroom ceiling or along a wall outside of your shower.
