"I met with John to give me an estimate to cut a few trees. I had 1 tree in the front yard, 1 tree in the back yard, and about 4 trees just behind the backyard fence. He told me they will use the crane/bucket to cut the front yard tree. My house is surrounded by a chain link fence. I ask him if they will need to break the fence and he said no. I text John later in the week that they can break the fence in the back yard if they needed to because it was already partially broken from the fallen tree branches. When the crew came, the crew leader say he needs to break the front yard fence to get his truck into the backyard. I'm like what? John didn't say anything about that. "Large oak tree removed, stump grinded and other trimming looks good. I was told they would use plywood on the lawn to prevent ruts. End result, no plywood and major ruts. Lawn is a mess. Owner came for payment and said he would send someone out to address the lawn as well as debris cleanup that they left in the street. So I paid him for the job. I have not heard from him since. Took the money and ran. Would not recommend."

He did let us know that treatment effectiveness is only about 50/50 when you have trees that are already infected. Since the treatment was recent, we don't know if the trees will survive.
