They used ropes to ensure the tree limbs did not fall on my neighbor's property and a combination of handheld chainsaws and chainsaws mounted on extensions to reach the higher branches. They bought their own truck-mounted chipper which came in handy for disposing of the larger tree limbs. He did let us know that treatment effectiveness is only about 50/50 when you have trees that are already infected. Since the treatment was recent, we don't know if the trees will survive.
