They used ropes to ensure the tree limbs did not fall on my neighbor's property and a combination of handheld chainsaws and chainsaws mounted on extensions to reach the higher branches. They bought their own truck-mounted chipper which came in handy for disposing of the larger tree limbs. The tree was within 25 feet of the house (and overhanging the roof) and the crew exercised care.so as to avoid any damage to structures or surrounding landscaping. He was very knowledgeable, and was very detailed in his estimate. The pricing was also extremely competitive. We only ended up having two of the trees dropped, but the work was impeccable. "Large oak tree removed, stump grinded and other trimming looks good. I was told they would use plywood on the lawn to prevent ruts. End result, no plywood and major ruts. Lawn is a mess. Owner came for payment and said he would send someone out to address the lawn as well as debris cleanup that they left in the street. So I paid him for the job. I have not heard from him since. Took the money and ran. Would not recommend."
