"My wife and I appreciated the time Wayne took explaining what needed to be done and answered all of our questions prior to and during the installation. He and his crew did an excellent job installing the 2 high efficiency HVAC systems. Both systems are running well. I thank Wayne for his ongoing dialogue during the installation which gave us confidence in the quality of his workmanship. Even though the systems installed were an upgrade the cost was less than all the other installers that gave us price quotes for the project."

"I hired A&C to install a new furnace. Firstly their quote was extremely competitive and they listened to what I needed and my constraints. No pushy and constant up-selling. The work was completed within a few days of first contact and all the workmanship is well done. I also should add that team was very careful and wore masks at all time and restricted themselves to as much of my house as was required for the project. Highly recommended."

A blocked return air vent can cause your HVAC system to work much harder and, therefore, less efficiently. The result is higher utility bills and poorer air quality. A blocked return air vent can also cause unpleasant dust, dander, and odors to linger in your home’s air.

Setting your AC unit to 78 degrees can, indeed, help you save energy. In fact, according to experts, every degree you turn the unit up could save you between 1% and 3% on your energy bills. The unit will need to work extra hard to cool the house back off again after all those hot hours.

If your central AC is not blowing cold air, you should try resetting the system. Many systems have a reset button. Make sure your thermostat is off, then turn off the circuit breaker that powers your AC. Hold the reset button for three to five seconds, then turn the circuit back on. If you must place furniture in front of a return air vent, try to aim for putting furniture over a floor vent instead of in front of a wall vent, and avoid draping curtains over any vent system.
