"My wife and I appreciated the time Wayne took explaining what needed to be done and answered all of our questions prior to and during the installation. He and his crew did an excellent job installing the 2 high efficiency HVAC systems. Both systems are running well. I thank Wayne for his ongoing dialogue during the installation which gave us confidence in the quality of his workmanship. Even though the systems installed were an upgrade the cost was less than all the other installers that gave us price quotes for the project."

"The experience with Caesar and his A&C team was fantastic. Very competitive pricing for replacing my central air system (and the initial quote was also the final price). More importantly the work performed was very thorough - Caesar took his time to do the job the right way. Meticulous clean-up at the end of each day was also much appreciated. Overall great, highly-skilled professional who I would gladly reccomend to friends and family for their HVAC needs."

Customers say: Quick response

"Our AC stopped working when it was nearly 90 degrees out. After having read good reviews about Delroy, I called him and he showed up at our house in half hour. I had tried calling another company only to hear the earliest diagnostic visit I can expect was in 8 days, so this was a pleasant surprise. When he arrived he explained things step by step to help me understand the problem clearly. He gave several options on how we can fix the problem considering my budget. Instead of just pushing to have parts replaced, he laid it out what pros & cons of each method throughly. He tried to help me understand the whole system so I can look out for failing signs to look out in the future. He did excellent Job doing the repair. He even took my call in the evening hours when I had a follow up question. His fee was very reasonable and I cannot be happier with the service. I definitely will use this company again and recommend it highly to others!"

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

There are several common types of HVAC systems that you may have, including split systems, hybrid HVAC, duct-free systems, packaged heating and air, geothermal heating, or even portable units for heating or cooling. If you aren’t sure which type is in your home or are looking to install something different, you should consult an HVAC pro to determine which option is right for your heating and cooling needs.

A dirty AC filter can lower the efficiency of your system, so depending on how dirty it was, you may notice a temperature difference when you clean your filter. You can try other solutions if your AC isn’t blowing as cold as it used to. You can call in a local HVAC tech to make sure everything is running correctly, fix your air seal if it’s a window unit, and clean your coils.

A calculation method that your HVAC contractor will use to ensure your system does what it's supposed to is measuring duct output, or its CFM. The calculation requires knowing the cross-sectional area of the ductwork and determining the air speed past any given point within it.

The decision to put your AC unit on the roof or ground depends on the climate in your area, the roof shape, accessibility, and budget. If you live in a warm climate or don’t have existing ductwork, it’s likely best to stick to a traditional AC unit that sits on the ground. However, if you lack yard space, live in a mild climate, and have easy access to the roof, your home may benefit from a rooftop AC unit.

Yes, a frozen AC unit can affect your indoor air quality since the reduced airflow won't be as effective at removing air pollutants, like dust and other allergens. Additionally, ice around the unit can create excess moisture, leading to mold and mildew that can damage your home if you don’t catch it early.
