"They came in with their team and went right to work. Only a portion of the basement needed to be waterproofed. They drilled out a 10-inch wide portion of the concrete floor, put stones, pipe, more stones and re-concreted that portion of the floor. Painted that wall with waterproof paint leaving me the rest of the painting to do (my choice). Drilled a hole at the bottom of each cinderblock which drained into a grey baseboard material which then drained into the pipe and flowed into the sump pump. Adding a circuit breaker dedicated to the sump pump. They described everything they were going to do prior to the job and everything they did at the completion of the job. Oh and before they did anything they placed plastic all around so as not to ruin anything in the basement. I did not have to lift a finger."

"Professional, courteous, respectful, connected customer relationship and communication focused from first contact with owner Jake to administrator Amy to technician Robert. We received an email and a call from Amy notifying that Robert was on his way. Robert diagnosed the problems, described the solutions and made the repairs. Our clogged kitchen drain has been clear since his industrial snaking. And our "singing pipes" was actually a defective toilet closet mechanism which he replaced. He was the 3rd plumber we had in to fix the singing pipes and the only one who actually solved the problem. Robert was friendly, efficient and respectful leaving our place clean after his work. He was also willing to walk through the house to help us see if there was any other plumbing problems that needed repairing. We had pre-paid for an emergency/after hours visit which was higher than for regular hours. As it turned out, we ended up getting a regular hours timeslot due to a cancellation. The pre-payment was applied to the final bill collected by Robert at end of service, just as explained by Jake and confirmed by Amy. We will be calling Alliance Service Professionals again if/when we need plumbing done well by skillful and experienced professionals with respect for people and property."

Recently our 20+ year old heater started acting up. At times throughout the day or night the burner wouldn’t ignite and we would be without heat. After seven service calls and various parts at the cost of $700.00 our old service company could not repair the heater and the problem remained unresolved. So we decided to get estimates to replace our entire HVAC system mainly due to it’s age and this unsolved problem. Vaughan Heating and Air Conditioning was on our list of acceptable companies to speak with due to their Angie’s List A rating. We called Vaughan and they sent Tony Pellegrino to our home the next day. My wife and I were very impressed with Tony. He spent over an hour at our home scoping out our basement, configuring our new system and answering our questions. Later that day we received the Vaughan estimate that Tony sent by email. I called Tony and he spent another hour on the phone addressing my questions and concerns. We received the other competitor's estimates over the next two days. We accepted the Vaughan’s estimate which was $1,100.00 more then the lowest estimate and $2,500.00 less then the highest estimate we received. Our choice was based on our comfort level with Tony, the price of the job, the longevity of the company (established in 1937) and the quality of the heating and air conditioning units that Vaughan installs. We accepted the Vaughan estimate on Saturday evening and Tony scheduled our job that coming week on Tuesday (for the heater) and Thursday (for the air conditioner). The reason for the one day in between work was because they squeezed our job into an already full week of installations and we were really pleased that they did that for us. On Tuesday morning at 8:30am the installer’s, Marcus and Jeff were at our house ready to start the job. These guys were friendly, professional, extremely competent and also very neat and clean, covering our rugs, etc. Jeff and Marcus did and exceptional job installing our new HVAC system. It’s “state of the art”! My wife and I are extremely happy with the job Vaughan Heating & Air Conditioning did and we could not be more comfortable, then we are now, in our home.
