We even had them come back to put in new toilets, new pipes in laundry room, add utility sink, and fix outside faucet. Wish I had known about them sooner! "They came in with their team and went right to work. Only a portion of the basement needed to be waterproofed. They drilled out a 10-inch wide portion of the concrete floor, put stones, pipe, more stones and re-concreted that portion of the floor. Painted that wall with waterproof paint leaving me the rest of the painting to do (my choice). Drilled a hole at the bottom of each cinderblock which drained into a grey baseboard material which then drained into the pipe and flowed into the sump pump. Replaced the old basement window and placed concrete around it. Installed a sump pump, placed the pipe through the wall, placing the water exit pipe into a flower bed. Adding a circuit breaker dedicated to the sump pump. They described everything they were going to do prior to the job and everything they did at the completion of the job. Also, explaining how the sump pump worked. The total cost was $4200.00. The best part they cleaned up after. Oh and before they did anything they placed plastic all around so as not to ruin anything in the basement. I did not have to lift a finger."

"Mike Troyner, the owner is very professional. He conducted a thorough examination of the work site, i.e., a concrete crawl space, and determined the best solution to the problem. His team performed an excellent job of encapsulating the crawl space and installing a sump liner. The team protected the floors leading to the crawl space and removed all debris during the clean up."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

If you're dealing with a clogged sink drain, you may be able to avoid removing the drain by using a plunger to dislodge the clog. While we associate plungers with toilets, they can do the same job with your sink drain. Be gentle, though, as forceful movements can push clogs further into your plumbing system and make them more difficult to remove. Additionally, make sure you’re using a sink plunger—with a flat bottom—and not a toilet plunger—which has a smaller bottom protruding from the larger flat piece.

There are several signs that can indicate your leach lines are broken, failing, or in need of repair, including puddles of water or a marshy consistency to the ground above or around the pipes, slow drainage or plumbing backups inside your home, and noticeable odors or gurgling sounds coming from your leach field. Keeping your septic system properly maintained, including having your septic tank pumped at regular intervals, can help ensure your leach lines stay in good working order for a long time.

Yes, frozen pipes can cause a toilet to stop working correctly. If the pipes are frozen, water cannot flow, which can lead to two main problems. First, the supply line to the toilet tank may be frozen, which prevents the tank from refilling with water after you flush. Second, the drain pipe itself can freeze, blocking water from flushing away. As a temporary solution for a non-refilling tank, you can manually add water, but this is not a long-term fix. To clear a frozen drain pipe, you can try pouring warm water into the toilet bowl or tank and then flushing, as the warm water may help thaw the ice blockage. Ultimately, the best course of action is to unfreeze the affected pipes to restore your toilet to full functionality.

Common drain issues include slow-running drains, whether in a sink or shower, clogged drains, a bad smell, and water backing up into a sink, shower, or bathtub. Causes range from hair, grease, roots, or toilet paper clogging the drainpipes to flooding outside the home, which prevents sewer lines from draining properly.

Liquid drain cleaners are harsh chemicals that can erode your pipes. To treat a slow drain or for preventative maintenance, pour hot water down the drain to break up gunk and help move it along. Make sure the water isn’t boiling hot (keep it under 140 degrees Fahrenheit) if you have plastic pipes. However, you’ll need to pull the clog out for bigger backups.
