"Called GPS to explain what was going on after having the line snaked and plunged 2 different times from a previous company. Previous company did find a lodged object in the line. They told us we needed to dig up the sewer line, cut the pipe, remove the object and then repair. Max from GPS was here for five minutes when he thought to dig up some of our grass to look for a trap by the street. Which he found immediately ! Took him 2 more minutes to use a tool to grab a sippy cup that my son must have thrown down the drain on the side of the house. So thankful he thought to look for that trap. It not only saved me money and time, but gave me great relief that my plumbing is going to go back to normal again. All the girls who work in the office were extremely helpful as well ! Highly recommend Max and GPS and will be using them for all of our plumbing needs in the future. If anyone ever needs a plumber I'm recommending GPS. Thank you Max !!"

"We use Laury for repair and maintenance of our heating and cooling units for our rental properties and each time we need something done, the staff at Laury never cease to provide quality service. The technicians are always knowledgeable, thorough, courteous and pleasant. We recently had an HVAC system installed in one of our units and the home is rather large and is over 100 years old and there was not a whole lot of empty space to work with. The guys at Laury were able to install the system and all of the duct work and components involved neatly with the age and make-up of the home in-mind. They were pleasant throughout the entire installation which took almost a week. They were always on time and always communicated the process with us. Laury is a trusted business with many years of experience behind them. Prices are also extremely reasonable given the cost of services right now. Warren you are the man!"

"Professional, courteous, respectful, connected customer relationship and communication focused from first contact with owner Jake to administrator Amy to technician Robert. We received an email and a call from Amy notifying that Robert was on his way. Robert diagnosed the problems, described the solutions and made the repairs. Our clogged kitchen drain has been clear since his industrial snaking. And our "singing pipes" was actually a defective toilet closet mechanism which he replaced. He was the 3rd plumber we had in to fix the singing pipes and the only one who actually solved the problem. Robert was friendly, efficient and respectful leaving our place clean after his work. He was also willing to walk through the house to help us see if there was any other plumbing problems that needed repairing. We had pre-paid for an emergency/after hours visit which was higher than for regular hours. As it turned out, we ended up getting a regular hours timeslot due to a cancellation. The pre-payment was applied to the final bill collected by Robert at end of service, just as explained by Jake and confirmed by Amy. We will be calling Alliance Service Professionals again if/when we need plumbing done well by skillful and experienced professionals with respect for people and property."

"We had them do a crawl space encapsulation along with a dehumidifier 2-3 years ago. They did a great job with the initial install, and have continued with excellent follow-up and maintenance calls since then. Great staff, professional approach."

"I'm not fully moved into the home yet, but I will update when I am there permanently. The crew was very professional, worked diligently, cleaned up after every day of work (three day job--french drain expansion, two additional sump pumps installed, window drains into the sump pumps, pretty extensive job)."

"Clay's is without a doubt the best HVAC contractor in the area.  Estimate was provided by Clay and he spent about an hour at my home going over the details of the job during the visit.  I can be somewhat of a demanding customer and Clay was patient, courteous, and professional when it came to answering all my questions and discussing the details of job.
The job in my home was a pretty significant undertaking particularly since it was a retrofit (i.e. NOT new contruction), a complete tear out and replacement of the existing equipment, and some things were being relocated to other areas of the home.  On the first day of the job Clay and his foreman did a walkthrough of the job with me.  Due to scheduling and weather issues it was two months from time of estimate to job start and surprisingly Clay remembered every detail of my home and the job!  On the first day of work, tear out day, there were no less than 7 workers present to complete the task.  That's serious commitment to getting the job done!  The job required access to every area of my home...attic, crawlspace, and all living spaces.  We were without heat for the first three days of the install and Clay's left us with 4 electric space heaters which surprisingly kept the house quite comfortable.  After each work day the crew would clean their work area and the parts of the home they accessed.  My wife would comment each night when she returned form work that you couldn't even tell they had been there.  Work crews promptly arrived at my home at 7AM each day and departed between 3-4PM depending on what they needed to finish up.
Would like to also mention that I have had some interaction with the service team (Mike and Matt) to install an upgraded control board and complete system start-up in the spring.  The service dept. is just as good as the installation team!
Bottom line:  high quality installation, professional service both pre and post installation, courteous and respectful employees, and Clay's delivered on everything agreed upon in our contract.  While the cost of our particular installation was high that was largely a function of the scope of work and quality of equipment purchased.  Clay's wasn't the lowest bid but their estimate was perfectly reasonable.  As they say, you get what you pay for.  Don't undervalue the quality of any HVAC installation because that matters most.  Just a general FYI our old AC unit was 35 years old (i.e. very inefficient) and ducting in our home was terrible.  Electric costs to cool our 2,400 sq ft home in the summer used to run $300-$400.  As installed, the new system is approximately 14-14.5 SEER and that has translated into a $100-200 monthly savings on our electric bill.

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

To clean gunk out of a sink drain, pour in a half cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of white vinegar. The two will react chemically; let them fizz for 15 minutes, then rinse with boiling water. Repeat these steps if necessary for particularly dirty sink drains, and consider a drain snake if there are clogs.

For disposal clogs with standing water, use a sink plunger and place it over the garbage disposal drain. Push the sink plunger up and down the drain about six to eight times before lifting. If the sink drains, the clogged food particles are dislodged from the drain. If there’s still standing water, repeat the steps until the standing water clears out.

No. You should never pour old paint down a drain or sewer because it can clog pipes and pollute the environment. You must dispose of paint properly and safely. Different types of paint need to be disposed of in different ways—oil-based paints must be taken to a paint recycling center, while you can throw dried-out water- or latex-based paints in the garbage.

No, you should avoid using liquid drain cleaners. These chemicals, often packed with sulfuric or hydrochloric acid, can wreak havoc on your pipes, causing erosion and potential leaks. They’re also dangerous to your health. If you’re dealing with a stubborn clog, manual removal or a professional plumber is your best bet. Chemical drain cleaners can often make things worse, especially if the clog stays put and the chemicals linger in your pipes.

An AC drip pan may stop draining if there’s a clog where the drip pan connects to the drain line. Clogs can form from a lack of cleaning or from rust or corrosion buildup. Cleaning the drip pan at least once per month lowers the chances of debris clogging the drain line.
