"After I posted my initial reviews, the owners of Air Temp Service Co. (Mario and Lori) reached out to me, and wanted to make it right. They are a family owned business, and proud of the work they do.We talked about the issues with our interactions with their company. After some additional research, I agree that the Nest Thermostat does need a common wire, and its beneficial that we had it installed. The other issues were due to the technician that was working with us at that time. That technician was removed from the company a few weeks after the work at my house was complete. The technician was responsible for the up charge on service, and pushing us to replace the CPU for our central AC (this should have been communicated as being the worst case scenario instead of the first step to fix the issue).The outside unit which was the main job I contracted Air Temp Service Co. for was installed cleanly and quickly. It was good work. They have also removed the technician who caused my family so much grief. I would say if you are a potential new customer they are worth giving a shot. They will take care of the job, and if you do have an issue they will make it right."

"I am a attorney in Nutley, New Jersey. We had no air conditioning on the second floor of our commercial building yesterday. After our regular HVAC maintenance company claimed to be too busy, we researched an alternate and found excellent reviews for Challenger. Access to our roof AC system is a bit tricky. It was no problem for Jorge of Challenger. He easily navigated the approach and the scuttle. The AC was in tiptop share in less than an hour, portal to portal. The price charged was fair and the work was clean and professional. Challenger has a "can do" attitude and approach to HVAC. Thank you Jorge for an excellent job. Based on our experience, I am very pleased to refer this company to others."

"Sheldon was extremly nice and very responsive to my inquiry. When I booked thru HA, he called right away to say that the date was not going to work but could we do it this week (when the weather was much better - an issue for AC). He explained and showed me everything and what needed to be done. He also unearthed some very dangerous wiring so it was great he was so thorough."

"Our furnace failed on a rather cold day. We called Arctic Air Conditioning and they sent a technician the same morning. The system was ~30 year old, and we know we needed to replace. Once we confirmed that the furnace is not salvageable, they sent an advisor, Chris, to do the measurement and gave an estimate. Chris was able to arrange the installation in 2 days. The team came and completed the work as expected. The work was done in about 5 hours: removal of the old gas furnace & AC unit, installation of new units and new thermostat. They made sure we inspect their work, and showed us how the furnace works. The AC will need to be fully charged when the weather is warmer. A couple things to know is that the utility rebate is small and not worth taking into purchase decision. The Lennox thermostat works well, but the phone app does not work (rated extremely poorly on app store), so don't bother. We picked the better upgrade, which is reflected in the project cost."

"We had a complete system installed in a rental property. The condenser, coil and furnace were replaced. Hector and Dewey were very courteous and accommodating. They arrived on time, walked through the steps for the removal and installation. As they said up front, the installation would take a full days work. Though they ran into a few snags in getting the unit from the front of the house to the back; they took time and care in removing a door and ensuring it was reinstalled and working properly. By the time the job was completed they cleaned up the area and made sure the tenants understood how to run the thermostat. The next day they called to check on the status of the new unit and its operation. I would definitely use them again."

"I was in desperate need of an AC unit repair and Kyle came to the rescue. Iâ  ve owned my home since 2019 and have been looking for and honest and reliable AC technician. Iâ  ve used a couple of other technicians but Kyle will be my go to moving forward. He kept me informed of everything he was doing and educated me on how my unit should be running. He even gave me info for what filters I should be purchasing to help my unit run efficiently. He gave me several options with regards to repairs and I went with the higher priced option because it was so reasonable and I didnâ  t want to cut corners. I will be scheduling my routine maintenance with him for the summer and winter. Iâ  m so happy I finally found an AC technician I can rely on. I highly recommend him."

"No 1 Cleaners were very professional and did a good job of cleaning our air conditioning ducts and vents. Carlos was knowledgable and did a through job. However, there was one thing that we did not like. While angi said that the initial quotation was FREE, No Cleaners said that if they came to provide a quote and we decide not to proceed with the work, we needed to pay $99 as fee for inspection. This was a bit disturbing as others did not charge for the visit and initial quote. I would recommend No 1 Cleaners as they were were professional and executed very well."

I explained my air conditioner was not working and with 1/2 hour a young man named "Jay" was he. He was polite, courteous and explained everything to me. "Matt and Mike replaced our old barrel type humidifier that wasn't working and replaced it with the Aprilaire fan in humidifier, ran a new water line, electric and rerouted the condensation line to the sump pump. They also upgraded the thermostat and relay panel to be able to control the humidity from t-stat. Everything is running perfectly with home humidity at 46%. Also purchased the elite yearly service plan."
