"Having had work done in my home from small tasks to significant renovations I have encountered several contractors who perform marginal or substandard work so I decided to source a reputable contractor from Angi. After reading the comments and reviews, I arranged a personal meeting with Mike Melia for my bathroom renovation. Mike responded quickly to evaluate and explore and explain the best options while taking into consideration my handicaps. Throughout the project there was much infrastructure from prior work performed and existing conditions. Mike addressed all structural problems, plumbing and electrical repairs including a new sub panel. Mike has remarkable attention to detail for every aspect of work and he completed the work with a high standard of professionalism with his employees and subcontractors. Mike was on site everyday in constant communication with myself and my insurance company. He was unexpectedly neat and clean throughout the process. This very challenging project could not have gone smoother. He is personally knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend Mike and his team. I am now using Mike and his team to build a full deck and to make structural repairs to my garage. I hope my experience inspires others to contact Mike Melia when it comes to finding value versus price. "We started out with a budget just for the kitchen to repaint the kitchen cabinets, replace the flooring with porcelain tiles, redo the peninsula, use quartz for the counter tops, add recess lighting, and center the lighting fan. Into the job, based on Harvey's excellent advice, we decided to get new kitchen cabinets, have Harvey and his team build storage cabinets above the new cabinets instead of having a soffit built in that open space. We also had a pantry rebuilt by Harvey and his team as well. Lastly we had the peninsula changed to an island with cabinets added underneath as well. Also, we decided to redo the small (powder) bathroom on the main floor. Harvey and his team were awesome. He was very patient in allowing us to make changes to the original plans that turned out quite outstanding. His team always showed up early for work. The quality of the work was simply outstanding. Instead of half doing things like what we got with the Home Depot contractors in years prior, Harvey and his team took things back to the studs and made sure the things were built the right way. I now feel very confident about what is behind the walls and how the work was done. I will attached pictures of the kitchen and bathroom by next week. We are still putting things back into the new cabinets now and etc. We are extremely happy with the work Harvey and his team did. We intend to use them for a few other projects in the future. If you're really thinking about having work done on your home, I would highly recommend that you speak with Harvey to have his team come to do an amazing job for you as well. "Ryan Jones is the most competent contractor I have worked with. I have done many renovations to my 1059 year old house. This time we had two small rooms reconfigured into 1 master bedroom. Heat, electricity, framing, a beam added and plumbing were all part of the project. All done impeccably. Ryan’s strength is his knowledge, problem solving skill and excellent communication skills. The price was reasonable even with multiple change orders . I will definitely use him again"

"I found consistently positive reviews and high ratings for Wilber's Painting. So, when I hired this company I had very very high expectations. They not only met those expectations, but they far exceeded them. Everyone from Danny (estimator/manger), to Melvin (project/team manager), to the hard working painting crew (consisting of Yimi, Donaldo and Victor) was courteous, professional and conscientious. The painting crew worked tirelessly (even through uncomfortably high temperatures). They meticulously, respectfully and quietly, prepped and painted the house and garage. They performed the highest quality and cleanest prepping, cutting and painting that I have witnessed. They protected the siding, windows, roofing, gutters and surrounding property, surfaces, plants and AC equipment. They thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the project. AND... Wilber's Painting quoted, and honored one of the most competitively priced estimates (with no additional cost overruns). I will definitely hire these hardworking professionals in the future. "I typically never write reviews but, since I found it so hard to choose a contractor to work with on the remodeling of a few rooms in our home I figured this may help the next person searching for a contractor. 
Lima contracting was fantastic.  We remodeled the first floor of our home in Cedar Grove, NJ.  The owner Rob himself kept us informed of timelines, what was next, how things were going, etc.  Rob & his team suggested we "opened" up the space a bit by knocking down a couple of the walls so...we knocked down the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room and the dining room from the living room.  We took down all the old cabinets put up new cabinets, granite tops and an island that we didn't have room for before.  Repainted all the rooms and put some gorgeous porcelain tiles down in the kitchen. 
Rob is fairly priced, he kept within a couple thousand of the original estimate and he showed us cabinets, tiles, paint, etc. that would keep with our budget.  He also had some suggestions my husband and I didn't even think of and it made such a huge difference on the outcome. 
They were quick, clean workers that did a quality job.  I will be using them in April for a remodeling of our bathroom & basement.  I would recommend this contractor to anyone and have already connected them with some family friends to do some work.
If your worried about finding someone with experience, uses quality workers, cleans up for themselves and won't rip you off...try them you won't regret it!!

"I saw JM Contracting working a few blocks away. I asked John to please come by and give me an estimate on creating a deck over an existing patio and a paver walk way. The price was fair and the material quality top notch. I am thrilled with the work. The team was professional, clean and did a fabulous job. I am hoping to work with them again on some inside projects. Timely, responsible and most of all excellent communications-something almost. unheard of in the contractor area."

"My parents and I live in a old brick apartment building in Hoboken that is from the 1880s. The bathroom in our apartment had not been updated since the 1940s. We needed help ASAP. We checked out Cesar s page and wanted to hire him immediately. The reviews speak for themselves. When he came into our apartment to give us a quote we knew that this was contractor we needed to get the job done. Cesar is affordable, friendly, and very accommodating to any issues or concerns you have before starting the project. Two massive issues with our project were that my dad has spinal & walking issues, so we needed the floors clear of all tools and materials at the end of the each day so that father could walk efficiently through the apartment. The other big issue was that we only have 1 bathroom, so Cesar agreed to work with us on pulling the toilet off and on as every day finished so that we did not have to leave our building to use the toilet. Him and his crew are the best and take pride in their work so that owner is happy with the final result. We brought the bathroom down to the bare bones and rebuilt it back up. I worked with him every step of the way to make sure that he needed all materials to get the job done in the time we needed. This project was an intense remodel with some of the hardest demo and substrate materials that an old bathroom can have. He didn t think anything of it. He has veteran experience in the field and this remodel only took 3 weeks. We are very impressed with Cesar s craftsmanship and professionalism and we will be hiring him again for any future interior projects."
