Work crew had to dig out two big bushes to access the old sewer pipe at my home's foundation but replanted them along with any tulip bulbs they displaced. "Situation resolved!!!! This started off as a little bit of water in the corner of the basement but escalated very quickly with the snow melt. Sean was here the same day I called to assess the situation and began work shortly after. They had to chop up the entire perimeter of the basement floor to install the french drains. "I found Blue Umbrella through a google search. I called and Tony responded right away with a date to check out the job and provide an estimate. He gave me an estimate the same day and the price was completely fair. I scheduled a full French drain installation for 2 weeks later. Six crew members arrived on time and finished the job pre inspection in 1 day. Post inspection, which easily passed, they came back the day after and finished in half day. They were all very polite and respectful to my family and home. French Drain Installation can be a dirty job but they managed to keep my home free of dust, bringing all equipment and materials thru the basement window. I now have a very clean and neat drain system with covered sumps and a single exit pipe. I highly recommend Blue Umbrella for any basement waterproofing needs, couldn't ask for better."

"They came out on a weekend and we're our saving grace during one of the most frustrating experiences we've had in this house. We couldn't use any plumbing without flooding the basement with sewage, it was early stay at home days, and we felt like we would go mad. They showed up and gave us an price for replacing the broken pipe, and set in to work. They worked for the entire weekend essentially, staying extremely late at night and showing up early the next morning, and at one point driving far out at night to get supplies since their usual local place was closed (again, quarantine time) . The reason it took so long was because after opening up the floor to get to the end of the pipe to replace it they found more damaged pipes, and replaced those as well. By the end of it they had spent the entire weekend on a job they expected to only last an afternoon, had charged us not nearly enough for the amount of work they did, and fixed a leaking bidet we had for free for good measure. They also advised us to do camera scan to look for any other problems, which they couldn't do until the water drained out, and even did an initial mop of the basement (which, remember, sewage flooding). I'm honestly half convinced these people are magic helpful brownies or something, it's unreal how helpful they were! Somehow our drier which has not succeeded in drying clothes for over a year has started working in a single cycle since they left, despite the fact they didn't even do anything with it, and in fact specifically said they don't do driers and offered to recommend someone else when we mentioned it. Suffice to say, I cannot recommend them highly enough"

"Mark Hendrickson returned my call promptly, and came to my house that afternoon to look over the site and to give me an estimate and a time frame. On the day of the job, he arrived right on time and had made arrangements with another company to have my septic pumped out, prior to the repair work. Even though this was a relatively small job, Mark and his son who works with him, were professional and polite through the whole process. The cost was $300 for the actual repair and digging and $300 to have the septic pumped out. I would not hesitate to use Mark Hendrickson Excavating again, they were great to work with!"
