"I received four estimates for my waterproofing project. Ultimately, I chose American A-1 Waterproofing due to the personalized and positive experience I had with Lou Manzo (Manager), Maurice (Foreman) and Crew Members. From the start, Lou was generally concerned with meeting my waterproofing needs. He actively listened to my concerns and provided satisfying solutions to achieve a dry basement without leading me down an unnecessary and confusing purchasing path. Lou explained the work to be done in great details. He was responsive to my calls, emails and texts and patiently answered ALL of my questions. Maurice and his crew members did an amazing job. They worked diligently during a heat wave and always demonstrated positive energy. They depicted such pride in their work -- making sure everything worked effectively and efficiently. I have to say, Lou really went above and beyond the call of duty. He ensured Maurice and Crew Members replaced a clogged downspout drainpipe and installed a cleanout valve. He ensured Maurice and Crew Members connected an exterior drainpipe from the catch basin to eliminate standing water in my front yard. This concept was Brilliant! And completed at the at a fraction of the cost! In addition, Lou consumed the cost to unclog a sewer line that compromised my newly installed Waterproofing System. But wait there is more! I have been unable to attend to other pertinent matters on/around my property, as I am recovering from surgery. Lou sympathized with my plight and ensured his crew demolished a crumbling flower bed wall and deteriorated shed in my backyard at a faction of the cost. Moreover, Lou returned with a crew member the day after the job was completed to reconnect my utility sink, washer and dryer and move them back into place free of charge. I am very pleased with the exceptional service provided by Lou, Maurice, and all Crew Members at American A-1 Waterproofing. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and GENUINE. The team exceeded my expectations! Moreover, pricing for my waterproofing project was extremely fair."

The entire process was incredibly smooth, Steve was very detailed in explaining step by step what was happening, he constantly and consistently checked-in to ensure all work passed his quality check. I was impressed by the install, from the scrub down and sanitizing they gave the basement, to the quality of their materials, the additional drain by the door they provided at no extra charge, and last but not least a draining area for the dehumidifier which saves me the twice daily trip down to the basement. I looked at a few waterproofing companies, and am glad I choose Blue Umbrella Waterproofing. They were reliable, efficient, had high-quality standard, and lastly upfront and honest. Antonio was quick to explain the situation and present an alternate plan to overcome the obstacle. His team worked hard under less than favorable weather and delivered a quality job. "I am not yet able to determine whether or not the expected results of the basement waterproofing work is satisfactory as I have not had a rainstorm or heavy rain since the basement waterproofing work was performed. I will, however, pay great accolades to Quality 1st customer service, especially to Kyle. I was troubled with the proposal for the job as certain aspects of the language would have left me at an unfair liability should something had gone wrong with the work. I explained this issue with Kyle who followed through until the proposal was acceptable to me. The work crew was exceptional in that they were punctual, worked quickly, neatly and were, without question, among the hardest workers ever to have done a construction project for me. The crew was headed by Wilver along with his guys - Manuel and Jose. Again, I will refrain from commenting on the expected results of the work performed until the appropriate circumstances occur. In summary, I would say that Quality 1st demonstrated A1 customer service and the crew that performed my basement work were hard workers with great attitude."
