"Angelo was a pleasure to speak with and very knowledgeable, His crew re-laid out the existing stones and added more rock. When it was done, they cleaned up. The soil is not leaching into my neighbors driveway. I am happy and my neighbor is too. It looks very good. Its neater and more stable, especially when walking around the top when maintaining the lawn thats regrowing right now. One more thing, the price was reasonable. Thanks, Angelo AND crew!"

"I had a horribly overgrown backyard I couldn’t keep up with because of my bad back and other health issues. They did a very good job. And they were fast! Reasonable price too. My house looks like someone lives here again! Very pleased. I’d hire them again."

"They installed the irrigation system. The equipment they used chewed up my lawn!! I had to spend the balance of the fall attempting to recover from the chewed up lawn. Installation is average. I had to call them back to fix poor quality work. They did come back and do right by me."

"Had these guys install sod on my front lawn. They were awesome! Friendly, professional, respectful. They did a meticulous installation and cleanup and the cost was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Angel and his team. They also do a variety of other outdoor projects that I will definitely look into."

Small jobs welcome

"We bought a new home and had not quite gotten to buying the appropriate equipment to mow the lawn, weed whacking etc so wanted to hire for a one-time service to get the property cleaned up. Dan was responsive to our request, reasonable rates and able to accommodate the timing of service. He and his team came on site and did a terrific, thorough job. Did very well around the various plants and edges. We were so impressed, we are looking to continue using his team for a while longer while we settle in. Definitely recommend."

Small jobs welcome

"He came on time and did the job as requested. His tool bits didn't support him when he started doing the second deadbolt, so he couldn't fix the third door. But I requested him to Change my mailbox post and he did it. Since I purchased the deal through Angie's list it took almost one month to schedule the work with him."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Dormant seasons like fall and winter are the best times to dig up plants, including holly bushes. Plants aren’t growing during these seasons, so the removal process goes a lot quicker. Consider hiring a landscaping team to handle holly bush removal during the cold-weather months for off-season pricing deals, too.

You may need to lay sod on the areas you dug up once you get the okay from the contractor. It will take about 30 to 45 days for the sod to take root. Consult a local sod installer to get an accurate estimate of the timeline of your specific yard-enhancement project.

There are several ways to decompose yard waste quickly. The first step is to move all debris into a compost bin or pile. From there, microorganisms, bacteria, and insects will break down the yard waste into compost. To speed things up, shred the waste into smaller pieces, add live worms to the pile, or introduce nitrogen-rich compost accelerators like grass clippings, coffee grounds, and manure. Turn the compost over every few days. This process, called aerating, allows oxygen to get in and accelerate decomposition.

There are tools known as “sprinkler donuts” that are specially designed to aid in cutting the grass around your sprinkler heads by protecting them from your mower or weed whacker. You can also use a pair of hand shears to do the job manually if you’re willing to get a little dirty.

No. Unfortunately, leaf removal is your responsibility, no matter what tree the leaves come from. It would be pretty hard to regulate leaves since they can be moved by the wind or water. Imagine the detective skills it would take to determine which tree each leaf came from and who was then liable for removing it. Instead, plan to remove any leaves on your property.
