He answered my phone call right away, and within 24 hours all the problems were fixed. He came out with Peter, and they both worked hard, evaluated the problems and took pride in doing a good job. A third man came out to snake out a drain blockage. They were here for more than a couple of hours, and charged a very reasonable price (labor plus parts) for a few different fixes. Very satisfied. Would use again."

"I hired them for a furnace maintenance check for a great price. They changed my filter and disconnected my electric one informing me it was no longer in use. Added glue to pvc drain pipe that was loose, cleaned the flame sensor, measured voltage of circuits. Recently, as the weather got colder and the furnace started running I noticed a puddle coming from underneath it. I spent quite some time trying to diagnose it myself but couldn't figure it out. I explained to the company that I started having issues with the furnace after my last check. They sent Frank out to look at the issue. He was able to identify the issue pretty quickly and it was pretty simple. It was due to a loose drain pipe inside the unit. He simply reattached it. I was not charged as it was possible the pipe got loose (it was not well sealed) during the maintenance check. I was extremely grateful with the way Frank and Arctic Air Conditioning conducted business. I am wary of vendors who try to exploit you but I do not feel that way at all towards Arctic Air. I feel I can trust them with my business again in the future."

It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. We had Arid install real French drains with pipe to the sump pump well. Thus was in 2005 and we have not had any water in the basement since. Pat explained the job well and his team performed it quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards. The pump finally gave out last night (after almost 12 years).
