On Friday, Aug. 1st,I noticed that my garbage disposal was leaking when I turned the water on.  I called Ed and he said he was going on vacation and one of his associates would be able to get to me on Monday.  I was disappointed because I was having guests over on Sat. and it was going to be difficult to prepare things with a leaking sink.

To my great surprise and relief, I rec'd a call from Ed Sat. morning asking me if I'd like him to come out and I, of course, said yes.  He was at my house 1/2 hour later and installed a garbage disposal that we purchased at Home Depot. The installation got a little more involved because the pipe was badly corroded and also needed to be replaced.

I greatly appreciated the fact that he squeezed in my job before departing for his vacation.

We've used him in the past for other jobs at our house and at my mother-in-law's house and I would highly recommend him.

I had a small leak under my kitchen sink which could have turned into a larger issue. I'm glad that he was able to identify that the new garbage disposal was installed too loose and that a screw had fallen out during its use. If I waited longer I could have ended up breaking it and spending a lot more money having it fixed.

 

Overall the job was done timely he was on-time and even came out on a Sat morning before 8am.

"The majority of the work was done well. During our time working with the company there was a change in leadership and staffing that slowed progress on the job so that it took them around a month to complete the originally contracted job. However, they were dedicated to only using staff who could complete a quality job. The owners were very responsive by phone, and would frequently come out to check on progress. If we expressed unhappiness about some of the work, they would send someone out to fix the job to the best of their ability. Their painting/plastering work was not especially great, we knew that they could not match the color, however, the patches were sloppy which was surprising given their name. I wish they would have used higher quality materials for the fixtures, but the best of Lowe's is what they used. However, we were allowed to select the fixtures ourselves and they would pick up the item. If we wanted higher quality, we would have had to research, purchase, and pick up the fixtures ourselves and they said that they would install the fixtures. After getting many estimates and working with other contractors, we would use and recommend them in the future, especially if they had settled their staffing/leadership issues."

"The gentleman who conducted the audit was thorough and professional. The audit itself was informative. I went ahead and bought the service they recommended during the audit which was increasing the insulation in my attic. I was more than happy with the service. They forgot something during the installation of the insulation but the manager was prompt in rectifying the situation."

"It went very well.? John the contractor told me it would take two weeks which I was not expecting but I didn't realize how much work actually had to be done.? Since it is the only bathroom in the house I had to move out.? The first couple of days were spent in demolition and the plumbing work.? I picked out the tile with suggestions from John.? I'm very happy with the tile that was selected.? He had worked with it before and told me how nice it looked finished so that's what I decided to go with.? He also made several other suggestions during the course of the job and they worked out well. Although it is a very dirty job, they tried to keep the place as clean as possible.? They kept right on schedule and always put in a full day's work.? Everytime I stopped by the house to check on things they were there working.?
