Our toilet tank stopped filling late on a Friday night. On Saturday morning, I called John and he answered his phone right away. He actually offered to come later that day, but we were not going to be home, so the repair had to wait until first thing Monday morning. He arrived exactly when he said he would, with one other man. After examining the problem, he quickly determined which pieces needed to be replaced, and the whole thing was finished within half an hour. While he was working, he also answered a couple other questions I had about our very old toilet. I was also impressed that he was familiar with this style of small bathroom in our 100+ year-old house. However, he also took several phone calls while working. I found that slightly unprofessional, but on the other hand I appreciated his immediate phone availability myself. After he left, I noticed a dripping sound coming from the tank. I called him back and he explained what was happening (nothing was wrong). The toilet seems to work even better now than before!

He was very personable. He seemed interested in fixing my problem. He took my old part with him to a plumbing supply company. I would use him again. He was courteous and prompt. The problem happened again after he had left and he came back the same day to look at it. I thought that was great.

I decided to hire them as they were the first ones to get back to me. The project went well and was completed on time. The person who came in to execute the work was friendly. He did his job and knew what he was doing.

It went very well.? John the contractor told me it would take two weeks which I was not expecting but I didn't realize how much work actually had to be done.? Since it is the only bathroom in the house I had to move out.? The first couple of days were spent in demolition and the plumbing work.? I picked out the tile with suggestions from John.? I'm very happy with the tile that was selected.? He had worked with it before and told me how nice it looked finished so that's what I decided to go with.? He also made several other suggestions during the course of the job and they worked out well. Although it is a very dirty job, they tried to keep the place as clean as possible.? They kept right on schedule and always put in a full day's work.? Everytime I stopped by the house to check on things they were there working.? Although the price did not include painting they painted the walls and ceiling at no extra charge.? He said it was easier to paint before the toilet gets installed.

The work was done quickly (a couple of hours) and they used quality materials. Granted, we already had the floor ripped up, but I think most contractors would not have bothered for such a small job. I was very satisfied with the work. Cost went up a bit at the end (about $50) because of some extra materials needed, but I agreed with his assessment, and he definitely was not trying to take advantage of us.

Answered his own phone! Came over day I called to check out job. Gave us a fair price. Always arrived on time, worked a full day, was pleasant to deal with even when I challenged him with tile patterns and difficult installation of specialty accent tile. All I have to do myself is paint. A pleasurable experience and I plan to use him again.

He was very meticulous and organized. He took his time to make sure everything was done right the first time.

The final outcome of the job was completely gorgeous. All work was completed in a timely fashion and was on schedule. The workers were also very clean and thorough. I would strongly recommend JT Roberts Plumbing to anyone.
