We rely on this water for the garden so it was important to get this fixed fast. Angler showed up the next day exactly when they said they would and quickly replaced the valves. They clearly explained what they did. They didn't try to sell us unnecessary work but did make suggestions for a few other things we might want to consider getting fixed in the future. The worker was very carefully in terms of COVID-19 and always had his mask on when entering our home. Definitely would recommend them."

You can leave baking soda and vinegar in the drain overnight, which can work well for tougher clogs. Just be sure to pour warm water down the drain in the morning to finish up. You can also perform this task as a part of your regular drain cleaning, which you should try and do once per month.

In the majority of cases, homeowners insurance will not cover a main sewer line root clog. The reason is that most insurance companies consider tree root damage to sewer lines as common wear and tear, which is also preventable. However, you may be able to buy optional add-on coverage, such as "service line coverage" or "sewer line endorsements," that would protect against root damage to your sewer line.

Knowing the signs can alert you to a clogged drain line. Clogs cause slow drainage or cause no drainage (if there’s a complete blockage). You may also notice foul odors, gurgling noises, water backing up in other appliances on the same line, or a poorly flushing toilet. Several signs can tip you off to a clogged dishwasher drain.
