"My front door lock became inoperative.  I called American Locksmith and they responded in a timely manor.  My problem was diagnosed and I was given options.  A new, exact replacement lock would have been $500 installed.  They suggested getting replacement parts, as the  majority of the lock was in good condition.  The replacement parts were ordered ans in a couple of days were installed.  The lock now works perfectly.
Without question, my best interest was put first and all work was done reliably and efficiently.  I would recommend American Locksmith to anyone.

"After having a "handyman" replace the deadbolt lock on my front door, I suddenly wasn't able to lock my door!! Pocono Locksmith sent Andrew and in no time at all he correctly installed the deadbolt. Everything went very well with M&D when I called for their help.  The customer rep who answered the telephone had great customer service skills.  M&D were quick to respond and they managed my expectations around the locksmith's time of arrival.  M&D sent a very competent worker named Daniel who assessed the situation and described all my options and prices before moving forward.  Of course, I would have liked the total price to be lower but the locksmith was so professional that I decided to replace other old/missing locks in the house as well.  
Daniel went back to the store, collected the additional door knobs and locks and returned to complete the rest of the job. He moved quickly and efficiently and was very pleasant to interact with.  In addition, he gave me quick tutorials on a couple of the new locks.  I was very pleased to have so much work done after having postponing the lock changes for so long.  M&D turned my bathroom lock-out accident into a positive experience!
