"Searched for carpet cleaners on Angie' List and selected Classic Services.  Spoke with Wendy on the phone and she went over every room in detail.  I provided the measurements, we discussed what needed to be moved and she told me they had a special product for allergies.  I had emailed her too and she was very responsive.  We scheduled it for a day & time that worked best for us with no problems.  Johnny arrived on time and we discussed the job in detail in each room and he measured.  The price was actually lower than the quote and they gave us the Angie's List discount too.  Johnny was very professional and nice.  He used protective items to make sure the entry door would not have any damage and the corners in the hallway.  He took his time to do the job right while not taking longer than the estimated time quoted.  He told us that the carpet is very wet and provided us with booties then brought us in a dozen roses.  It was a great experience from the intial contact speaking with Wendy to the end result when Johnny gave us the flowers.  Wendy then followed us the next day to verify we were satisfied.  Highly recommend this company to everyone.

Hardware Store aisle after owner rearranged their aisles, before we stripped and refinished it
Here is the family room with the owner's favorite chair area before we cleaned the carpet
The client doesn't realize just how dirty her floor is, and becomes amazed at the outcome!
This is the client's den area where the floors were refinished. There is a long list of major errors. Here it starts with dreadful sanding resulting in drum marks & edger digs, incomplete sanding, completely botched staining, and a horrible 'finished' product!
Here you can see several etch marks, (drips, dribbles, spills and drink ring marks)

"Bill was very responsive to my inquiries and his price was reasonable compared to two other stone repairing companies I had contacted. My green marble floor was scratched up by the plumber I had hired to replace my toilet. See the before and after pictures. The scratches are gone and my marble floor is shiny and new again. Even the grout got cleaned up. Just a note, they don't accept credit card payments. I paid by check."

"The project was to redo the entry, kitchen, and laundry room ceramic tile which included removing the existing and installing new porcelain 24x24 tile. The project was thought out and coordinated very well. by Armando. The installers did a great job and cleaned their workspace on a daily basis. I would highly recommend them and we are very happy with the work they did."

"An excellent experience from picking out the countertops to installation. The customer service reps and installation crew were courteous and knowledgeable. Pricing was excellent. We actually thought we were going to pay double the price. The job took less a week from beginning to end. Our kitchen looks beautiful!! We would recommend KOL Marble and Granite to anyone looking to purchase new countertops."

"John was fantastic, from the original quote through to the completion of the project. He listened to our wishes and also had some great suggestions. He always arrived on time, was very conscientious, did great work and was very clean and neat. We previously had another bathroom floor replaced by another contractor - no comparison. John did better work for ⅓ of the other job's price. We recommend him highly and would certainly hire him again if we ever need more tiling work done."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

While no countertop material is truly “heatproof,” granite countertops are extremely resistant to high temperatures. Some types of granite can withstand temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. However, we don’t recommend placing hot pots and pans directly on granite countertops. Even if it doesn’t scar the granite, it may damage the sealant.

Since cesspits must be watertight to prevent leakage and contamination, so they’re typically constructed from one of a few tough materials. Most cesspits are made from fiberglass, concrete, polythene, or steel. Each of these materials carries certain advantages—fiberglass, for example, is resistant to corrosion but may be more prone to cracking if it’s at high capacity.

Rock salt and ice melts contain sodium chloride, aka salt, and are corrosive to metal and concrete. If used frequently over time, it can cause corrosion, discoloration, chipping, and cracking to patios, walkways, and driveways. You can try a rock salt alternative or hire a professional snow removal company instead.

Professionals remove scratches, stains, and etching, restoring the stone’s natural shine and extending its lifespan.

Silestone® is heat-resistant, so it can handle moderately high temperatures for a short period of time. That said, exposure to high heat can cause serious damage. You should never take a hot pan off the stove and place it directly on your countertop. Temperatures above 300 degrees Fahrenheit can leave marks or discoloration on the surface. Instead, use a trivet.
