Mr. Bustin impressed us the first time we met him with his knowledge of bluestone and mortar reconstruction. He listened carefully to our requests. During the project, he frequently asked our input on design and choice of stone. Using larger stones, he artistically repaired our crumbling stone patio and steps. The newly mortared stonework flows flawlessly from our older walk with no sharp demarcations. He and his team were respectful of our property, cleaning up the worksite daily. Post-completion, we asked that he address one concern. He promptly responded and fixed the one loose stone. We plan to use him in the future to address other areas of our property. We will also be recommending him to our family and friends.

Steve and his crew did an excellent job. They were very courteous and left a clean worksite. Part of the job was to remove old rafters from the brick wall and did an excellent job matching the existing 40yr old brick. He stands behind his work as there was one minor issue that he came back to repair as soon as I notified him.

I hired Bustin for 3 projects around my 200-yr house: to repair a collapsed stone wall, to reface an 80 ft stone retaining wall out front, and to rebuild some broken-down, uneven concrete steps. He had to change his plan after demo due to the discoveries that come up in repairing a 200-year-old structure but kept on his budget and finished everything in a week. The rebuilt wall should last another 200 years, the front wall looks great like it is an extension of my house, and the new steps are... like new steps. They handled a large tree trunk removal (which another bidder would not) and cleaned up all debris.

Stephen Bustin and his crew are awesome. We have an old historic house that needed a stone staircase rebuilt int he front of the house. He is a true artist. He rebuilt it better than new and made it look like it was done over 100 years ago (but better)! He is passionate and dedicated. Would highly recommend to anybody look for a high-quality, resonably-priced mason and concrete expert.

They did all the work they promised to do in a very efficient manner. They worked on our problem with water in the basement. After they finished the work they called after the first rain storm to make sure our basement was still dry. Which it was. Highly recommend.

He came out right away to give me a free estimate. His price was definitely reasonable. He did everything plus more than what he said he was going to do. Steve was definitely far and above a masonry guy. He is an artist. Plus I had an oriental rug that needed cleaning and he did that too at no extra charge. I will definitely have him back for other work.

REPAIRED LEAK BUT RUINED MY NEW ROOF. Broken promises to come back and fix work. I now need to have shingles replaced due to their incompetence and while Steve promised a check the next day, as usual he was a no show. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE.

Steve Bustin and his crew did a wonderful job at replacing our enormous concrete patio. They did what they said they would do at the price they said they would charge in the time frame in which they said they would do it, and the work was excellent. Something I really liked was that Steve explained to me the importance of hydration curing and told me to Google "Concrete hydration cure", which I did. The info I got was invaluable and by following the instructions I found, I know the concrete patio will be NUMEROUS times stronger and more crack resistant than if I had simply let the patio dry. Thanks Steve for telling me about hydration curing, keep informing your customers about this! Also, Steve suggested "Acid Stain" to make the patio more aesthetically appealing and by golly, this patio is a work of art! I wish I could upload a photo here. It's colorful and glossy, and has a marbleized appearance. Good job Steve and company!
