They got someone out to check out the problem (water on the basement floor around my a/c unit, which was not cooling well) on the same day I called, during a heat wave. The serviceman did a fair amount of work to find the problem. After he added refrigerant to the system it was working just fine, and with his suggestion I realized I didn't need to have the temperature set as low as I had been doing. The place stayed cool at a higher setting because it was working more efficiently and really pulling the humidity out of the air."

So I called and Oscar came to my home. He and his partner looked at it and thought the leak was caused by a problen that renders the heater unrepairable. After relighting the pilot light he made a slight adjustment to the valve which stopped the leak. He could have just told me the heater was cracked and useless just to have me buy a new one to make himself more money but he didn't which i was so very grateful. He's coming back to put a sleeve in the chimney. I recommend Oscar and Whitestone Heating and Cooling to anybody who needs help with their heating or cooling systems.
