"Needed leaky water valve repaired and sewer system unclogged. Came within 45 minutes of my desperate phone call. Installed new valve and new copper piping. Could not flush clog from inside, so came next day and dug 7' hole in front garden to remove the clog. Also installed vertical pipe to access any future sewer problems. Work crew had to dig out two big bushes to access the old sewer pipe at my home's foundation but replanted them along with any tulip bulbs they displaced. Truely considerate of my early spring garden! Courteous, mindful of property, work done in a timely fashion at a fair price. Explained each step in the process and why it was needful. "I called their office and an office worker answered, took notes, and said someone would be in touch once they returned to the office. I received a follow-up call a couple hours later and was told they could be at my home in about a half hour, which was spot-on accurate. Two people arrived, which seemed to be one actual employee and his son serving as observer/assistant. The goal was to figure out why I was getting a sewage smell in my home coming from the washer/dryer utility closet. The plumber (Lem?) was very thorough in working with me to figure out the issue, first checking the main sewer line for clogs, and gradually narrowing it down to a drain pipe underneath that the washing machine that had been connected to my old washer, but had no way to connect to the new one, and so the trap in it had dried out completely. The two of them moved disconnected and moved the washing machine, filled the trap, and re-connected everything. It has been about a week and a half since then, and the smell has not returned, so it seems that did the trick. Overall, I was very satisfied with the work. Aside from what I just described, the plumber also gave me advice on a few other questions I had about my kitchen faucet and sink drains, and advised that I could have a rubber cap put on the drain we filled to prevent the problem from recurring (I declined on this visit in case that turned out to not be the actual issue). The price was also very reasonable for the service call and thorough investigation done. My only negative mark is that - with it being a rainy day and the plumber needing to check the main sewer line from a pipe on the lawn - the lack of shoe coverings meant they tracked water and mud along the path from my front door to the utility closet which I had to clean up later. I am definitely keeping them in mind, though, for plumbing work I am planning on having done later this year."

"When Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew arrived, I showed him the corner of the garage that I had forgotten to show him on his first visit, where there was some sort of a drainage issue that had evolved over time. He was able to give me an adjusted price on the spot to replace the apron of the garage, re-angled to an existing drain. When the crew broke through the old apron of the garage, they found that water from the broken drain had eroded quite a bit of the earth and timber supporting the corner. Mr. DeBenedetto prescribed filling the void with concrete, and was able to adjust his price a third time to include the new materials. When all was said and done (over 2 days), Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew completed two major jobs, one completely unanticipated (not in the original price) in a quite reasonable amount of time for a very fair price. The workmanship of the masonry and drainage work is excellent. The crew was pleasant and obvioulsy quite skilled. Overall an excellent outcome to major work. I would recommend Mr. Debenedetto withot hesitation."
