"JM turned a beat up, large backyard deck into a gem. Easy to work with and can offer suggestions of different aspects of the project. They took great care with a wisteria we've had for years that has wrapped around a portion of the deck's railing. I would definitely hire this company again."

"This is the 2nd time I've used Freeborne and I would definitely have them back again. They built a 12' X 16' enclosed room on a 2nd story deck and it came out great. Lenny, Scott and crew knew what we wanted and exceeded our expectations without over complicating the project. There were no budget surprises either. The amount we discussed at the beginning was what we were charged. If I could I would use them to do projects inside of the house!"

"Tony performed quality work on my deck for a fair price. He was punctual, and communicated well when weather interfered with his plans. His prep includes a light sanding which breathed new life into my aging wood deck. I will definitely hire him again."

"House looks great. Many boards on deck and ramp were loose, originally nailed - replaced with screws. Hinged a section of lattice for accessibility and screwed in place. Stain was hand brushed, not rolled. Even the lattice was stained. No delays or interuptions. Different crews for different jobs. Crews were courteous, very professional-they knew their stuff.

"These are a few things we love working with Juan. (State Wide home improvement and maintenance)
* Always answer our phone call and answer all the questions. ( hard to find contractor like this now a days.)
* Time of finishing the project took a little longer than we expected but the job being done on the project was excellent. There were few minor issues we had with the projects but we were able to work it out and Juan was able to take care of it right away.
*They were very flexible with how we wanted things to be done.
*The best thing we love working with them is they didn't take short cut or did sloopy job. They took their time and finished the job right way. This give me peace of mind knowing that i don't have to worry about it later.
* as you can see we did a lot of projects with them. We highly recommonded hiring them to do your projects.
* we are planning to hire them to do our future work.

There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.
The cost to professionally pressure wash your deck is $150 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $600, depending on the size of your deck and its condition.
For an average deck of about 300 square feet, you can expect to pay around $100. However, if you have a spacious 1,000-square-foot deck or more, expect that cost to be closer to $300 to $400. Likewise, if it’s been a long time since you deep cleaned your deck, the deck professional might need extra time and to use deck-specific detergent, which will increase the overall cost.
You should have your deck professionally cleaned twice a year—once in the spring and once in the fall. A springtime cleaning wipes away grime and mold that accumulated during the wet winter months, making it sparkly clean for summer use. Likewise, cleaning your deck in the fall allows you to wash away grease and leftover mess from the fun summer months rather than letting them soak into your deck over the winter.
Yes, you need to thoroughly clean the deck surface before staining your deck. Dirt, debris, and mildew can settle on the surface of your wood. If you do not properly clean it, these stains will get trapped between the wood and the stain. Not only does this present an unsightly surface, but your wood will only partially be protected by the stain, meaning you'll need to stain again sooner.
There are ways to clean your deck to help maintain a clean appearance. You can easily remove surface-level dirt and grime by wetting your deck with a hose and doing a quick scrub with store-bought deck cleaner monthly.
However, investing in professional deck cleaning services near you at least twice a year is worth it. This service saves you time and ensures that your deck will avoid accidentally becoming scratched by blasting the pressure washer at the wrong angle.
