"I couldn’t be happier with the service from Aquatic Labs! Their team is professional, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable. They always show up on time, communicate clearly, and keep my pool looking spotless. Every visit gives me peace of mind knowing everything is being maintained the right way. A special thank you to Monir, who is truly one of the best pool service professionals I’ve worked with. He is thorough, detail-oriented, and always takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. His expertise, honesty, and dedication to customer satisfaction really set him apart. If you’re looking for a pool service company that genuinely cares about quality and their customers, I highly recommend Aquatic Labs. They consistently go above and beyond!"

"We did not open our pool for 2 years and was afraid we would have to empty and refill. We had previous estimates that gave us pause. After speaking with Jorge, it was a no brainer that he was the man for the job. He started immediately in a few days out pool transitioned from Dark green murky water to Crystal clear water. I wish I could upload the before and after however the max is 5MB 🥹"

"It went beautifully! Steve gave us suggestions that ultimately allowed us to save money and looked great! It was logistically difficult for us to be there but he kept us updated as he went along and sent pictures of the progress. And because we couldn't be there many things such as taking down pictures, moving knick-knacks as well as clothes and furniture were done by him and his crew without a problem. We added a few additional things to be done and the prices were very reasonable in my opinion. Mom is going to be so thrilled!"

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

The best paver for your pool deck depends on your budget, style, and how much maintenance you’re willing to invest. Granite is one of the best low-cost pavers for pool decks. It’s very slip-resistant and durable, too, making it a top pick. Travertine is a high-quality material that resists freeze-thaw cycles, looks stunning, and won’t get hot in the summer. The only downside to travertine is that it costs more than granite.

Building an inground pool is a job best left to the pros. Excavating the area and building the pool requires heavy equipment and specialized training, and pools have complex plumbing and electrical systems. Unless you’re experienced in these areas, you’re better off hiring a pool contractor to make sure the job gets done safely and correctly.

Yes, it's normal for pool pumps to make noises—like a humming or gentle rumbling sound. But if your pool pump is making loud noises, then this could indicate an underlying problem. Sounds to keep an ear out for include grinding, whining, screeching, and banging noises. Also, pay attention to any new or louder sounds emanating from your pump.

Generally speaking, most municipalities require you to get a permit when you build a pool. Whether or not you need a permit to install a plunge pool will depend on your local laws. It’s always better to check with your HOA and town clerk before digging for a new pool. Otherwise, violations could result in hefty fines.

No, you shouldn’t be able to taste the salt at all since saltwater pools only contain about 10% of the salt you’d find in ocean water. Saltwater pools do create some chlorine, though, so you should still try not to drink the water.
