I went to Angi to request some help with installing an EV charger, and Michael ended up being the person who got on the phone with me and was super charismatic. Their service was quick, reasonably priced, and done to perfection. Not only did they help with the EV charger, but we were able to discuss a full house project. They installed recessed lighting in three rooms, three fans, and even fixed some janky faulty electric we had from our home being a flip. Michael, Mark, and Steve were a ton of fun, very informative, and professional. Will be using them again for any future needs!"

"I called Rick on Friday at 6:40am on a whim and he answered. He had a tech out to me by 11 am. I couldn’t believe it. The tech that came to me, was the most sincere and truthful person ever. They had to order parts and they actually got them over the weekend and another tech is here right now installing them. This tech is the same exact demeanor. Greatest group of guys possible. "10 reasons you should consider Ryan: 1. Ryan was very honest upfront with what materials he will use and what work he will perform 2. Due to pandemic and heavy snow in Feb, he accommodated the entire estimate process with photos and FaceTime for an unconventional setup involving new sub panel in my garage 3. He was courteous in answering all my (some naive) questions about the estimate 4. His price is not the lowest, but he used industry grade NEMA 14-50 outlet not the cheap ones 5. He submitted the permit for me (so that we won't have any potential code issues if/when selling the house) 6. He followed up when the permit was approved 7. He showed on time, worked efficiently, and finished the installation within 3.5 hours (2 days later) 8. He did everything he said he would do and used all the materials he said he would use 9. The installation passed the inspection with flying color (inspector commented that "whoever did this did a neat job") 10. Last but not least, he is trustworthy and only took full payment after the pass of the inspection (no other HomeAdvisor contractors provided that kind of peace of mind) and provided one year of warranty on workmanship upon my request (which showed his confidence in his work and which I hope never have to use) => If you live in (central) NJ and need to install a home charging station for EV or PHEV, please don't decide on any contractor w/o getting an estimate from Ryan as well (even if with FaceTime)."

"The experience was not quite what I expected. I had clearly explained the scope—replacing 10-12 standard switches with smart switches giving model number/spec—and was hoping for a lump sum proposal, but they only offered hourly rates, which is understandable. They estimated it would take about 2 hours, but the job ended up taking over 4. While they mentioned having done similar installations before, they spent quite a bit of time reviewing instructions on site, which added to the time and cost. The final bill was over $800 for a couple switches, including a service fee and $10 for wire connector? (The switches come with connector) Just a heads-up to others: be sure to ask detailed questions about hourly charges and how time will be managed, especially for smart device installations."

"We replaced the original roof on our house. I expressed my concerns about re-installation of the lightening rods to my roofer. We have had at least three direct hits since they were originally installed in 2013. My roofer called William who was very helpful. William offered to come out an make sure everything was 100% after re-installation. He came the day after I called and I'm glad he did. While the reinstall was the best he had seen (his words) there were issues after 5 year and 3 strikes that needed addressed. He fixed those and now I have a new roof and I am certain the lightening rods will work as intended. Highly recommend this company."

"After inspecting the problem, the service man roamed around my house telling me all the things that needed to be fixed. He then showed me the tank was loose and tightened 2 bolts and caulked around the bottom. This visit wound up costing over $400, and could have been done in a matter of minutes. It took 4 phone calls to get a small refund, and cancelled contract."

Steve Reed responded right away, gave us an honest assessment of what our needs were, and had his team replace the panel as soon as they could. We had had a very high quote from a different company (not on Angie), and Mr. Reed gave a price that was much below that. Very nice people, very knowledgeable and responsive. We would definitely call them again if we have another electrical problem! You should call them too!"
