"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"We hired Elegant Home Improvement to renovate 2.5 bathrooms, our master bedroom, our kitchen, and our Living room. John & his crew met and exceeded our expectations. They spent approximately 40 full days worth of work on our house and at the end of every day the work area, our yard, and our house was always clean and immaculate, while still making good progress. "My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.

"This is a bit overdue as my work was finished several months ago. I can't say enough good things about David's work. My house is nearly 100 years old and when he agreed to remodel my bathroom I don't think he knew what he was in for. Once he took down the walls and floor - what we found was a nightmare. But with all the issues my old house had - David was able to overcome them and produce a clean, finished, beautiful bathroom. David is on-time, quiet, focused and a hard worker. If not for the actual hammering - you wouldn't know he was there. He cleaned up every day after himself and worked like a pro."

"Malik runs a very professional operation. From the time of initial phone contact with Malik (yes, he does answer his own phone) to the final post-job cleanup, this was a hassle-free project for me. Malik's crew showed up promptly each morning, and under the supervision of Malik or his equally capable foreman ("Mr. Z"), every detail of this work was performed in a skilled, highly competent and precise manner. Once begun (except for rain days), the job was continued through completion. Worth noting also is the fact that, although he was aware of my budget limitations, Malik was able to deliver a first-class job which the quality of the finished product reflects. "John Hayes and his 112 construction team came and expedited the repairs to get our home back to not only a functional state, but a more improved home better than we had before. The rooms that were effected the most look better than they ever did. As repairs occurred; John was very open to having other work in our home being renovated as part of the original repair work. Work such as our master bathroom renovation as well as our living room look as if we moved into a brand new home. During the repair phase, an ongoing problem with our plumbing was discovered. John and his team didn't miss a step. They immediately went into action to solve the issue and continue with the existing repairs like nothing happened. Their knowledge, professionalism, expertise, flexibility, and courtesy during the work was well over outstanding. John's assistance on helping us locate the best products to add to the repairs and renovations is greatly appreciate. The costs we paid for his services and work doesn't compare to the price we paid.
