"My floor was in horrible shape after a lot of neglect. Bill came to my house for a free estimate. He was on time and extremely polite. To show me that they could get the floor clean, which I had doubts that anyone could do it, he cleaned a small section of the floor by hand. I was sold from that point on. On the date of the service, they were on time and finished in record time. I was at work and could not see the results in person. Bill even went to the extent of texting me a picture of the finished product. So pleased with this company and will absolutely recommend them to ANYONE that will listen to me."

"I have been in Property Management for 15 years now and am currently a Property Manager in Warren, New Jersey. Sir Grout along with Fred B. Sales Manager at Sir Grout, was recommended to me by several owners in our 55+ community. I met with Fred to discuss polishing our clubhouse floor, and I was immediately impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness, and responsiveness to our needs. He knew the products we needed to ensure a beautiful outcome. He delivered. The entire job was completed in just one day, and Fred followed up afterward to make sure everything went well and that we were satisfied with the results. His attention to detail and commitment to customer service truly stood out. The work performed received many compliments from both the Board Members and residents throughout the community. The floor looks fantastic. I would highly recommend Sir Grout and Fred B. the Sales Manager from start to finish."

"Robert is a great guy to work with like everyone says. He also cleaned all the carpet in my house. He took the time to really do everything right. Just a few spots of tile in the corners were missed so I would ask to use a skinnier tool to reach into corners."

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Steam mopping effectively cleans and sanitizes floors to kill germs and remove ingrained grease and grime. However, vacuuming or sweeping the flooring first is always a good idea. This removes the larger dust and debris particles that can end up being pushed around the floor by a non-suctioning steam cleaner.

Unless you have epoxy grout, you should reseal your grout after cleaning. This is especially true if you’re in a high-moisture area like your bathroom or kitchen. Sealing your grout has a lot of advantages, like helping your tiles last longer and making it easier to clean the grout the next time.

If you happen to skip this step, you’re likely to have grout problems down the road like cracking or grout falling out. You may also notice damage to your tiles.

The easiest way to tell if your grout requires sealing is to look at it. If it looks dirtier than normal or the grout gets dark when wet, chances are the seal has broken, and resealing is necessary.

Unlike sanded grout, unsanded grout doesn’t always require sealing. But it’s a good idea to seal it anyway—especially in moist or humid areas (like bathrooms) or high-traffic spots—to protect it from dirt, mold, stains, and damage. On average, hiring a pro to seal grout costs between $150 and $250 for a 160-square-foot space.

If you prefer not to use a commercial cleaning product on your pink mold issue, or on other types of mold you are seeing in your bathroom, there are some natural mold killer products that you can use. You can try substances that you may already have in your home, like vinegar, tea tree oil, hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, and baking soda.
