DO NOT HIRE THIS CRETIN LITTLE MAN - He is a fraud and a thief! Just like some previous reviews he tried really hard to get my project and I chose him because he seem like a decent person. He started demo in my kitchen October 4th after I told him I was ready to start August 23rd and my kitchen still not finished as of December 12, 2022. After demo he didn’t show up for 3 weeks I had to ask him to refund me my deposit and charge me for demo…I have a very small kitchen and not many cabinets, he refused to give me my deposit back. Because I wanted my kitchen done I decided to continue working with him, Anything that was not specified in the contract he would quote me 2 or 3 times higher than a licensed plumber or floor installer. After his bad electrical work the outlets started tripping the breakers and I lost a coffee maker and a hand held vacuum. He refused to take responsibility for the damage. I should of fired him then but again I wanted my kitchen done. So finally, is time for cabinet installation after his shoddy work on my walls and ceilings. Another contractor shows up to do the installation, the same thing happened when the dry wall was installed, he hired other people to do the job. I hired this company based on all the reviews here and it turns out he is a fraud, the cabinets were not installed correctly, they damaged my new floors and his brother made holes in my basement walls trying to install a 3 way switch. I finally decided to let him go and complaint to the NJ licensing board and let everyone know who they are dealing with. Just in case he is currently doing your kitchen or any other project in your house, while we are eating out every day waiting for the kitchen to be done he is away on vacation. If you do decide to go with him make sure you don’t pay him until the work is done and ask him to be very specific on all the lights and outlets he needs to do if not you will be paying a very high premium.

Did a complete bathroom and kitchen gut and redo, and painted the entire inside of the house. Salomao and his crew are absolute machines. They demo'd during the heat wave in July 2022 and never slowed down. They come right on time and stay as long as it takes to get that day's tasks done. They rolled with the few major issues that cropped up (the electric and plumbing were far worse than first thought) and fixed them as well. My kitchen is unrecognizable from what it used to be. For the first time in my life I have a house I can be proud of and credit Oliveira with making that happen. Note: the entire cost I list in my review is for their labor, materials as well as all the purchasing I had to do (cabinets, countertops, tiles, appliances, paint, etc). $72K is the "out the door" price of my remodel.

All went well, Sal and his team did a great job. I would definitely hire again for future projects.

Outstanding!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their attention to detail, professionalism, communication, quality of craftsmanship, cleanliness was tremendous. Their price was also right in-line with others that I received. Extremely hard workers. No wasted time.

Sal and his team installed a kitchen backsplash and mudroom tiling for me. The employees were always on time, respectful and kept things neat while working. Sal communicated well throughout the job and everything looks great after completion. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend to a friend.

My bathroom came out beautiful with the renovation. Solomon and his team are very skilled at what they do. He was able to answer all the questions I had, which was helpful when I was purchasing material. All work was done in a timely manner and communication was good. I even asked him mid way through the bathroom if he could install kitchen countertop/sink and it was no problem, and came out great The entire process was very professional as well, from signing the contract to shaking his hand when all the work was done. Pricing was also very reasonable. If I ever need any additional work done in the future i would not hesitate to call him.

We couldn’t be happier with the amazing professional work done by Oliveiras Kitchen and Bathroom. They arrived on the scheduled date and time and prepared the work area and access area with tarpons to keep the rest of the house clean and cleaned up after each day of work until the work was completed. The bathroom came out above expectations workmanship was amazing and Solamon and his team couldn’t have been more professional and pleasant throughout the project. Without hesitation we would highly recommend this company to our friends and family and anyone else for remodeling projects in their homes.

Usually do tile myself but job was a bit big for me. Was very hard to find tile guy so I went on Angi's list and took a gamble. I was pleasantly surprised. No, I was ecstatic! Installers were very professional do great craftsmanship. I will be using them again for my future projects. Thank you Oliveira’s Tile!!!

The thing that made Salomao stand out in my mind is that he was very responsive to texts and phone calls during this process, which I have found to be rare thus far. He also worked with our strict and sudden time-line and actually ended up finishing a day early. His team kept the area clean and put a lot of effort in to not damage our newly installed carpet His main guy, Guillerme, was friendly, knowledgeable and very capable. All in all, I'd say our experience was as easy and pleasant as renovation in your home can be.

Saloman provided a detailed estimate and thoroughly explained the work on his first visit. He was professional through out the job. He was present at the site working everyday. He patiently explained every detail on how best it would fit my need. He customized the bathroom to fit every feature I wanted. He always provided me guidance when choosing material. He always picks up his phone and answers text. My bathroom turned out better then what I had envisioned.

They were great. Showed up on time, efficient, courtesy, and skillful. Our bathroom finally looks as it should…great workmanship.

It was difficult finding a tile mason/contractor who would only do tile work. Soloman and his team were more than willing to help us out. They are professional, reliable, and talented.

The tile looks good, but it was everything else that I was not happy with, the details. I had a kitchen backsplash and foyer tile replaced. This was one of 3 quotes I received and the most expensive of the 3. This estimate was $1600 more than the next lowest quote. The other 2 quotes were at least 6 weeks out where Sol was only a week out but I needed it done soon and couldn’t wait 6 weeks due to work obligations. Initially things went well. Sol is only concerned about getting a signed contract and a check. I was going to mail the check and contract and he magically was going to be in my area that day and picked it up. The following are issues I had with the work done: - Damaged a 10+k front door by not covering it prior to working on the grout, now impossible to get off (see pics) - Replaced shoe molding that is a different size than what was taken out and doesn’t match the rest of the house. - Painted shoe molding so quickly, it was sloppy, I rather it have not been painted (see pics). Also overpainted trim and other columns that weren’t part of the job, it’s now two different colors and sticks out, obvious, you see the brush marks. - Severed ADT wires which I had to get fixed and pay for out of pocket - Used our bathroom, as if it was a public restroom- Also walked through the house with dirty shoes leaving footprints everywhere. - Cut tiles on a garbage can that they didn’t clean, making a mess in my garage - He lacks experience for trouble shooting, see saddle example below… - He told me I needed to buy more tile than I had purchased (other 2 quotes had same amount of tile). Additional cost of $250. The foyer tile he replaced borders the kitchen tile, which was a different floor. I asked what can be done to merge the 2 different floors and he says you can use a metal strip. That was used in the 70’s and not an option for my home. He didn’t give me any other options. My brother in law stopped over and mentioned using a saddle. Sol should have mentioned it to me as well but didn’t. We also asked if he would grind other tiles we had as a border/transition tile, which looked great, but was unable to do it. The issue is he is not very experienced going above and beyond. He may do a decent job at laying tile but that is only part of the job. The finishing touches matter just as much. Sol needs to pay as much attention to the job itself with all the little details as he did making it a priority to pick up the contract and deposit. If I had paid him ½ of what I did- I would say I got what I paid for. But when he was over 5k and the highest quote of all of them, I expected a near perfect job, that was not what was delivered. He begged for a review and when I told him of the issues, he never responded again. I would never use again or even recommend them to anyone.

We are extremely happy with the result of all of the renovation work done. Sal and his assistant did an outstanding job for the renovations. Sal would make suggestions and recommendations that were always helpful. We purchased all of the finished material for both renovations. Sal supplied the rough materials that are not visible after the renovation like pipes, wiring, valves, etc. He and his team are prompt, responsive and flexible. For example, for the kitchen renovation, there were delays by the cabinet vendor and Sal was flexible enough to reschedule around these delays. The master bathroom work was about 15,000 for Sal's work and about 10,000 in finished material. For the kitchen, half-bath and laundry room work, it was $20,000 for Sal's work and about 21,000 in finished material, which include the cabinets, stove, range hood, sink and countertops.

Very disappointed. First, there were small holes in grout line of shower wall (After I point it out owner came back to fix it). Second, one existing vanity door was damaged. However, owner sided with his worker stated the damaged was prior to their work. I clean my vanity every week so I know what's there or not. I have picture to compare both prior and post demolition vanity. Every one can see if the damage is preexisted or not. Third, screws for air conditioner fence were missing(worker threw it out) but he claimed that screws were not there when he took off fence( do you see the pattern?) I put the fence in myself after painting I put screws in at that time. But worker said no? Fourth, ONLY after I pointed out the sealer spray was used. ( But It's stated in the contract to use sealer).

When I contacted Salomao for an estimate to update my powder room, he was very courteous and responded to all of my questions. When he provided the contract, I made some changes and he was very flexible to meeting my requests. Sal's worker completed the tile work and painting and Sal came in to complete the install of vanity, mirror, toilet, etc. The update was completed in 1 week and I am happy with the results.

The work is beautiful! Solomon and his team were very kind and took time to explain different things to me so I knew what needed to be fixed. As with all remodeling, there were some surprises but, I felt very reassured that they would be taken care of swiftly. The shower is absolutely gorgeous and Solomon called a few days after the job was done just to make sure everything was still perfect. Will definitely use them again!

Our basement had flooded in June- leaving all damage to floors and lower walls. Solomon and his Team were able to tile the entire basement, sheet rock , paint and do all of the baseboards and molding and finished in 2 weeks. It was a big job and I still can’t believe my eyes. The work is beautifully done and the price was right on our budget. Recommend them very highly!!!!

Salomão and his team did an amazing job retiling my bathtub. While they were working I asked them to help close up a few other projects that I previously had contracted someone for that did not come out as expected. Both Salomão and Gui answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable.

Sal and his team did a great job, our powder bathroom looks amazing! We highly recommend him!

Very well... I am super pleased with his work. He did arrive 1 hour late the first day but he was neat and clean. I had to replace some sheet rock and he had no problem picking it up for me. I purchased the tile and he did the install. I would use him again.
