"The overall process was quick and easy. They were able to come to my house within a day or two of being contacted, then found the leak, ordered the parts and installed them all within about a week. I would definitely hire them again for any of my plumbing needs."

"Excellent work. Right after the installation, hurricane Ida hit. Not a drop of water. It all went to the French drain system, if anything penetrated. The smart jacks will prevent further buckling in the house due to secondary settling. Kudos to Andrew Troy and Matt!"

"They were my third choice of contractors, but first two choices were booked up so I settled. I think I should have waited. Sam was affable and a bit aggressive with sales pitch but mostly returned calls in a timely manner. Work was adequate, but there were mistakes made - low spot on walkway that collects water next to foundation, crooked edges, uneven placement of some concrete. They left a mess, splattered concrete on house siding that required power-washing to remove; dirty greasy handprints on vinyl siding that needed scrubbing to remove, lots of gravel left on lawn; broken drain pipe, left forms on-site for over a week despite constant calls."

"“Awesome company, great work. I will hire again for other home improvement jobs.” Installers were professional, on-time and clean. This is a world-class organization. They only promised and delivered on the services they could perform. Their email quoting system is one of the best. The home owner will know upfront the cost of the job,"

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Installing a sump pump takes a bit of know-how, but it is possible to do it yourself. You’ll need to familiarize yourself with details like where sump pump water goes to avoid creating new flooding risks. If you’re doing the work yourself, it’s recommended to bring in a pro for a quick inspection afterward so you can be sure your home is protected from any water damage concerns.

Yes, most contractors and installers offer warranties covering materials, parts, labor, and workmanship for their installation services. It is important to confirm the specific terms and coverage details with your provider before starting the project.

Sump pumps remove excess water from the lowest point of your home, which prevents flooding. When a sump pit fills with water, a sump pump pushes that water outside of the basin and into an exterior discharge pipe. From there, the water flows away from your home, so it doesn’t damage your foundation.

If the time has come to install a French drain in your yard, basement, or crawl space, there's a solid chance you've been battling water damage—or the threat of water damage—around these areas. Thankfully, proper drainage should allow you to redesign these areas of your home without the fear of being inundated during the next storm. If you've had to remove a portion of your lawn for an exterior French or curtain drain, consider reseeding your lawn to patch up the spot. You can also take this opportunity to enhance your foundation waterproofing methods or even start thinking about finishing your basement .

Installing a battery backup for your sump pump is recommended, particularly if you live in an area with frequent power outages or severe rainstorms. A sump pump requires electricity to function, and a battery backup ensures it can continue to move water out of your home if the power goes out, providing crucial protection against flooding. Additionally, frequent power outages can create electrical surges that might damage the sump pump's motor. A battery backup system offers an additional layer of protection, ensuring your basement stays dry.
