"When we purchased our home a year and half ago, the crawl space in our home was in pretty bad shape. It was poorly insulated, was retaining higher humidity and full of debris from the previous owner. As the following year progressed, we started getting a little water from time to time due to heavy rains. During this time my wife and I realized it was time to do something about it. I was extremely impressed with how fast Basement Guru's worked and attacked the project. In the end, we had all debris removed, a French Drain installed, Sum Pump, sprayed our floor joists with an anti-microbial, insulation installed between the floor joists, rebuilt a wall dividing a room, Regrouted, Parged foundation pillars, installed a vapor barrier and roughcasted my stone foundation walls. Additionally, we had a dehumidifier installed. As of February 2022, our crawlspace has been dry and maintaining good humidity levels. In the end, the only negative we had during the project was was a small clean up issue. After addressing this problem with Dan, he was quick to respond and compensated the clean up costs.
