We initially hired Courel engineering for designing walk-out access from our basement foundation to the back yard, we eventually hired Courel Contracting for the work on the foundation. From start to finish Michael was thorough, fair and transparent with pricing and worked hard to ensure the job met township code as well as manufacturer specifications. He reviewed every detail and even worked very closely with other contractors that were grading the back yard and installing the patio to ensure everything went as planned. The work was completed quickly and on time and he was courteous during the entire project. The job was for a sliding door through the rear foundation of the house which required a landing and step into the basement as well. We continue to get compliments on the door and stairs as a focal point for the basement. I would 100% recommend Courel to anyone!

Courel Contracting has provided me with services that required strengthening of multiple foundation walls in a residential home that I was responsible for as an executrix of a Will. The strengthening effort required installation of vertical strips and repair/repointing of all horizontal, vertical, and step cracks. I worked directly with Michael Courel, who was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient and explained in detail the requirements of the job. He maintained his professionalism in all his interactions with me. He prepared the site, cleaned up, contained the dust, grinded wall surfaces, and cleaned the mortar joints. He also ensured that storm water and drainage were addressed by ensuring the soil around the property pitched away from the home, which made for a more complete job. What I liked mostly about working with Mike was that he kept in constant communication, updating me during the entire job, which spanned @ 4 months. Youâ  ll see many of his assets, I mentioned above, during your first interaction with him. I highly recommend him and think youâ  ll be very satisfied with his work.
