Josh thoroughly examined the interior and exterior of the home and determined that the leak might be plumbing related. Josh could have very easily exploited our ignorance and suggested a solution purely beneficial to his company that may not have addressed the underlying cause of the problem. Instead, he demonstrated his integrity by realistically assessing the situation even if it would jeopardize the sale. "Had Jeff DelVecchio from A-1 come take a look at our house to give us a quote. Took in all the measurements and said he'd get back to me with pricing and information. Been emailing him and it's been two weeks and still haven't heard back (doubt i'll hear back anytime soon). Also, asked for masonry and sidewalk work, he gave me another contact who he recommended who does side jobs named Carlos (who also happens to work for A-1 Waterproofing!). Something sounded really fishy about that. I talked to Carlos from A-1 about the job that need to be done. He said he'd give me a quote and never heard back from him again either.



UPDATE: FINALLY heard back from Jeff. Haven't heard back from Carlos yet though. Judging from the responsiveness and professionalism of this place, doubt i'll ask them to do our place.
