RARITAN VALLEY TREE SVC

I seldom write reviews, but this contractor deserves my enthusiastic endorsement. After gusty winds snapped a large oak tree and it fell against the house and onto the patio, I called Raritan Valley Tree Service (RVTS). A helpful lady told me that someone would be at site within the hour. Warren gave me an estimate. His crew showed up the following morning, Saturday, and removed the debris from a site that was not accessible for machinery. On Monday morning, José climbed an adjacent tree to cut hanging branches and a crew returned later to finish the job. Warren spotted a compromised tree with rot at a high branch and near the 42” diameter base. It was some 70 ft from where a harvesting truck could be located and close to the house. After careful study of options, Warren and his son proposed a solution with a large crane and a unique high lift passing through a 3 ft gate and set on the adjacent property. Some branches were within reach of the remote-controlled Knuckle Boom Grapple Saw robot. Others were cut by José on the high lift and removed with the grapple robot. The same for the trunk, which was manually cut from the top and removed in sections with the crane. It was amazing how Warren Jr. controlled the robot and the entire crew worked efficiently together, was mindful of protecting landscaping and cleaned the site. I had worked with RVTS before. They have the right equipment and experience to work within unique site constraints. It is a family business you can trust and is easy to deal with. I can highly recommend Raritan Valley Tree Service.

Fantastic service, Warren and his team are very prompt, professional, and work very quickly and efficiently. When you call his office line someone almost always answers, and they are super quick to get back to you with any updates and scheduling. Very fair pricing, I highly recommend them.

Warren and his team were wonderful to work with. They came to our home within 24 hours of my phone call to give an estimate. The estimate was fair. They came within 5 days to perform the tree removal. They have all the right equipment to do a safe and thorough job, including extensive stump grinding and sawdust removal. I highly recommend them!

Warren came out last Friday and came the following Monday. They did a great job and Warren would not give up trying to get a few stubborn branches. They did a great job cleaning up! I had used them a couple of years ago and will continue in the future. Their prices are great and so is their work.

This is the second time I've hired Raritan Valley to do work on our property. Warren & his crew are nonstop workers. They showed up when they said they would and took down 2 large trees, ground down the stumps, trimmed other trees & bushes around the property & were all cleaned up and out of here by noon. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Everything went fantastic!!! Warren and his crew showed up bright and early on the scheduled day. They went right to work. You never even knew they had been there when they were done. Cleaned everything up. Great pricing. Very professional.

The individual who answered the phone booked an appointment for an estimate, then called the morning of the appointment to confirm. The owner arrived to do an estimate as scheduled and gave me a written completed contract before he left. The price was reasonable. We agreed on three possible dates for the work. They called on the first of the possible dates and said a crew was available between noon and 12:30. They arrived on time - a crew of five men, a bucket truck, a chipper, and another truck. The trees they were trimming are surrounded by beds of perennials -- they were very careful, minimizing damage to my garden. The job was extensive and took several hours. Everyone was polite and professional. We had my neighbor's permission to do some of the work from her property and they were very very careful. They cleaned up thoroughly.

I called last week and was able to schedule Sunday for an estimate the next day they were able to do the job. They went with a full arsenal of equipment my favorite was their stump remover that is getting controlled by a remote control. Took them less than 1 1/2 hour to do the job. I also requested to leave the wood for fire which they cut to the size I wanted them to cut it to. Over all was a good service and price is reasonable compared to others.

Called me back right away and came quickly to give me an estimate. Dealt with all the questions and changes I had made through the process. Came back for a second time to change the estimate when I changed my mind. Very honest and told me what I should do and shouldn't do. Didn't give me a run for my money. Sent me paperwork and a certificate of insurance promptly. Very nice both the owner and the woman in the office. Gave me a very good price compared to all of the others I had. They had to take down a section of my fence to bring in the equipment to cut down my tree and then put it back together with no problem, can't even tell. Did everything quickly and with a crew of guys. The owner actually partakes in the work. Very knowledgeable. The whole process took about two hours. VERY QUICK AND GOOD JOB. Efficient. Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to get a tree cut down for a great price and great service. VERY HAPPY.

The were very prompt for both the estimate and the service.  Fast, professional, knowledgeable....gave me a number of options and were happy to work through cost/service tradeoffs

They were very good and everything turned out fine.  Also removed a dead 50 foot oak tree.

He came and gave the best quote. He had the insurance coverage paperwork sent directly from the insurance company. They came and wrapped up the work over the day; All the debris was removed. He said he could not take the saw dust and he did not. He got the contract for 5 other houses (close to 10,000$) in the same street and everyone was happy with his work.

I like them. They called at 7 am and said they would be here before noon. They were here 5 minutes before noon. They weren't even here half an hour. They cleaned up the mess and were gone. I couldn't even tell they were here.

I called the company on a Wednesday, they came and gave me the estimate on Thursday evening, and the work was done first thing Friday morning! Since I had a contractor working on my fence and one of the stumps was in the way, the timing coulnd't have been better! Thanks for responding so quickly!

Arrived on time.  Worked quickly.  Had the correct number of workers to be fast and efficient without getting in each others way. Cleaned up afterwards. Also had some of the highest quality (and probably extremely expensive) equipment I've seen amongst tree removal service companies.  Would highly recommend them.

I highly recommend them. I've used them for 15 years, and they are very polite and reliable. Their estimates are always on point.

They were very responsive from start to finish.  We were pleased with how quickly they were able to come out.  They were on time and asked questions where needed.  Everything was done to our satisfaction, including cleaning up after the limbs were chipped up.
A couple of weeks later, they were adding a fence to a neighbor's backyard.  The supervisor came to our door to ask if they could move part of our fence to remove a tree.  The fence was replaced perfectly.
