"hired Chimney and Duct Experts based on their reviews on Google and Angis list to address a potential problem with a roof leak near my chimney. They quickly determined the flashing of my chimney was probably the reason for the leak, so they gave me a quote to rebuild the chimney flashing for $1300. They were able to do the work that same day, which I thought was great. However, the leak continued, so I moved on to roofers to help figure out the problem. I had 5 different roofing and repair companies come out, and each one said that the flashing on the chimney was terribly done, using a sealant instead of metal step flashing as is standard. I called back Chimney and Duct Experts and spoke with a supervisor. He agreed to come and redo the flashing, but insisted that fully rebuilding the flashing is only done when you get a new roof. Ended up being incorrectly done again, and I'll have to pay someone now to fix it correctly."

Also perform stainless steel liner installations And terra-cotta flue Tile replacements. Chimney restorations, preventative maintenance for the longevity of the Chimney. Installation of stainless steel chimney caps, which are fabricated to size For each individual Chimney crown. Lifetime warranty on all Chimney caps! Also resolve major/Minor draft issues.
"Mike Alterio, the owner of the business, showed up, and did a chimney sweep. Paid him 200 dollars. He gave me two quotes for both the chimney, and the stairs, of which he demanded half up front for both jobs, totaling 4,350 dollars. He delayed and postponed the job 3 times, then the fourth time he failed to show up, and has failed to respond to my calls. He was supposed to do this job back in May. I'm trying to get my money back, and now the guy is ghosting me. He's essentially stolen my money, and committed fraud, and I am planning on filing both civil and criminal complaints. Looks like Michael is a FRAUDSTER."
