Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I have yet to receive the promised refund for work that was never completed. The lack of response and follow-through has added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. In addition to this, I had to hire a lawyer to recover my down payment, which cost me additional money. Moreover, he did not offer to compensate me for the extra expenses, including hiring an electrician to install a wire for the heat pump he could not install. Despite repeated attempts to have the deposit returned, I finally received it after engaging legal assistance.
