"Installed a propane line to run to a new gas range. It was about 30 feet of line in a finished basement with a dropped ceiling. Was able to finish in a day and returned the day of delivery to connect and test the line and stove. Great job and was easy to reach."

"Hagit and Carleton were easy to work with. They responded to our ideas and created an exciting contemporary design. They provided expertise that makes our medium sized kitchen feel spacious. They came up with efficient and aesthetically clever suggestions to make the cabinetry and countertop beautiful as well as functional. We also recommend their installer, Brian, who took great care in aligning the cabinets so that we achieved a flawless result."

"Jonesy lives in the next town and he happened  to have a little time free so he came right over an hour later.
I could not remove the blown bulb in the freezer. Frankly, I was a little embarrassed to call an appliance repair guy, but was glad I did.  He told me with newer refrigerators with electronic displays,  if the bulb breaks, it can short out the mother board and turn into a costly repair.  So I asked him to do it.
He had a tough time but was able to remove the bulb without breaking it.  While he was here, I had him clean the compressor and front grill.
He suggested that you always put a little Vaseline on the threads of the bulb to prevent this problem in the future. Clearly, the original bulb had been over tightened and, as I saw on line, is not an uncommon problem.
He was very personable and offers a $10 discount to Angie's List members.  I will definitely use him again.

"When we finished our basement several years ago, we had small rooms (basically closets) built to enclose the two oil tanks for our heating systems.  Earlier this month, we finally converted to gas heat.  Now, in order to have the oil tanks removed, we had to get the rooms taken down to give access to the tanks. Alex provided an estimate on Friday which I accepted.  He told us that he could get a crew in on Tuesday. The crew arrived and quickly took down the walls.  They put up plastic barriers to isolate the dust to as small an area as possible. They then proceeded to cleanup the basement -- sweeping, vacuuming, and finally using a wet mop.  The crew also wiped down the washer and dryer and all the shelving to eliminate as much dust as possible.  (They even wiped down the tanks not that they're going to be here much longer.) They left the basement cleaner than when they arrived! I've already asked Alex for an estimate to build new walls where the tanks used to be as well as tiling the floor where one tank used to be as that room was surrounded with tile."

Gas Grill Installation questions, answered by experts

Most likely, a gas plumber would be the best pro for many components in your home, and you might not even realize it. Natural gas plumbers are responsible for maintaining and installing natural gas lines, including installing appliances that use natural gas. These can include:

  • Fireplaces

  • Water heaters

  • Furnaces

  • Hot tubs

  • Clothes dryers

  • Ovens

  • Outdoor grills

Gas plumbers are also the pros that would handle a natural gas leak in your home, so it's essential to know the signs of a gas leak before it becomes a dangerous situation.

Safety precautions include proper ventilation, regular inspections for leaks, and ensuring tanks and fittings are in good condition to prevent accidental release or fire hazards.

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.
