Make sure the water isn’t boiling hot (keep it under 140 degrees Fahrenheit) if you have plastic pipes. However, you’ll need to pull the clog out for bigger backups. 

If your plumbing is leaking, you’ll need to get it repaired right away. The average bathroom leak repair cost is $150 to $350. You shouldn’t put off repairing a leak, as it can cause water damage to your home if left untreated.

There are a few ways to unclog a toilet without a plunger. Break up the clog with homemade solutions containing soap, vinegar, and baking soda, or simply let hot water spend some time in the drain.
