I have been growing trees and shrubs for over 10 years in southeast nebraska after graduating with a horticulture degree. I have planted thousands of deciduous and evergreen potted, balled and burlapped and tree spaded trees and was actually raised on a tree farm. Whether you need a windbreak, privacy screen, shade, ornamental value or more curb appeal. Feel confident I'm your one to do the job correctly the first time, and also, saving money at the same time by buying directly from the grower.
"Great. Our trees and yard have never looked better. He truly has the magic touch."

Yes, it’s acceptable to water the lawn in very hot weather, but you should try to water between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. for best results. However, watering when the temperature is above 95 degrees is ineffective. If you’re concerned about whether to water your lawn during extreme heat, consult a local lawn care professional who can recommend a watering schedule based on your grass type and climate.
Chiggers thrive in overgrown lawns, so regular mowing will deter these annoying mites. It may not remove every single chigger, however, so follow that up with weeding and trimming any nearby trees and bushes. Pay special attention to moist, shady spots, as these are a chigger’s preferred habitat. When all else fails, sprinkle your yard with diatomaceous earth. It kills chiggers by dehydrating their exoskeletons. Diatomaceous earth is basically ground-up shells, so there’s no risk of injury to animals.
Buffalo grass starts to turn brown when encountering drought during the normal growing season. You can water the grass when you begin to notice some browning to prevent it from going dormant. Additionally, buffalo grass turns brown after the first freeze of late autumn or early winter, and this is a natural time for the grass to go dormant.
It is not OK to cut grass after morning dew, as it can cause damage to your lawn, your mower, and you. Wet clumps of grass accumulate after the mow and can kill your grass or cause fungal disease. It’s best to wait until the grass is dry to the touch, usually two hours after morning dew.
You should mow your lawn first and water it afterward, in most cases. You should not mow when your lawn it’s wet as it could clog the blades. If you haven't been watering your lawn for an extended time or your area is experiencing a drought, water your grass first. Mowing thin, wispy grass can be difficult, so allow it to become fuller and thicker before mowing. Once it looks more lush and dry, go ahead and mow.
