"Adam and his team were a pleasure to work with on this project. Our Stone patio had been installed incorrectly 8 years ago. It was dry laid on sand/pebbles and not pitched correctly. Water over the years had infiltrated the base and sunk the patio, not to mention water pooling on top of the stones in certain areas as it wasn’t pitched correctly. Adam’s team dug up the entire patio, poured a cement base, cut and refitted each stone perfectly. The finished product looks fantastic and we are thrilled with the craftsmanship. Since the cement foundation raises the patio up several inches you can see the beautiful kidney deign of the patio. Adam also poured a concrete pad which he painted for our BBQ grill to rest on which gets the grill off the patio for more room. We would not hesitate to contact Adam for any new projects and highly recommend him!"

"My concrete patio was damaged so jose came by to give me an estimate. After discussion with Jose,on what would be best, He installed a beautiful new brick paver patio. They all worked so hard and did an amazing job. He also did some seeding as well as buried my gutter. Thank you Jose and staff for your great work and service! I will definitely be calling you guys back in the near future."

"I'd highly recommend DeMilo Bros for anything concrete and paver related. From the start of my project to the end they were just a breath of fresh air. Great people, they clean up after themselves and definitely go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right! They did a fairly large paver patio for me, and I just assumed I'd have an 18"-24" drop to get to the yard I'd have to deal with. Turns out they had a sod cutter, took up the grass, graded it out 10+ feet, and put the sod back down for a very professional clean look. They even have an irrigation guy on staff who took care of moving heads and lines. Thank you, Bobby and crew, job well done!"

"Upon calling L & G Landscaping, the phone was answered promptly and an appointment was made to provide an on-site quote. Isaac listened to my issues and came up with a plan to address the yard cleanup after Hurricane Florence, edging of my islands and trimming all bushes around my home. He completed the job in a professional manner. He has appropriate yard equipment to get the job expertly done. I will certainly consider him when my current yard contract has ended."

FAQs for patio service projects in Wingate, NC

Yes, installing a patio will usually improve home value, as outdoor entertainment areas are usually quite desirable and make your home more visually appealing. A paver patio usually comes with an impressive ROI of around 80%, while concrete patios should fall between 60% and 70%. Paver patios are considered more desirable and valuable because most home buyers prefer how they look, and they won’t raise your property taxes as a permanent concrete patio would.

Most professionals will take two to three weeks to install a patio and return your yard to its previous condition. The timeline for your patio installation will depend on several factors, though, including landscaping features your installer needs to navigate around, the type of patio you’re having installed, and how long any add-ons, like outdoor kitchens, take to complete. The size of your patio will also play a role in how long it takes, so plan to keep pets and children out of your yard for longer if you’re installing an oversized patio.

The average cost of a paver patio is around $3,800 for a standard, 280-square-foot patio, but prices commonly range from $2,400 up to $7,000, depending on the size, the type of paver you choose, and any add-ons you opt for. The design and shape of your patio can also increase labor costs if your patio installer needs to cut curves in pavers or spend time arranging them in a specific pattern. Some additional costs to consider include site preparation and excavation, as well as additional materials, like concrete, crushed gravel, and drainage equipment.

Some types of patios—usually those that require a concrete foundation—will need permits, while others—like paver patios, which aren’t considered permanent additions—generally do not. However, there are exceptions based on the size of your patio and where you live. We recommend having a professional patio installer determine whether you need permits. Your installer will also be able to pull permits for you, saving you time and energy.
