"I had Maynor do my HVAC last week. Not only did I get the best price but the professionalism of this company and its representatives is second to none. Mike came out and did a very thorough explanation of my options. He clearly knew what he was talking about from experience. He knew what I needed for top notch comfort. "After numerous "pros" came to repair my HVAC system, I always got the same response....you need a new system for 8.5 to 12.5k. What they don't know is I know enough about these systems to know the cost of parts and how the system works. So when the "technician" shows up and says they don't know which of the 5 parts was a problem, I'm skeptical. I just don't want to fix everything myself anymore. Comfort Monster is different. The difference is their technicians do not work on commission. Repairman from other companies get paid when the customer has to buy a new HVAC system, giving no incentive to fix anything. Comfort Monster technicians take pride in solving the puzzle of why the machine isn't working. I have two systems and when they inevitably have a problem, I'm calling these guys. Dude even gave my little girls Comfort Monster plush toys and they carry them everywhere!show more

"Let me begin by saying I don't normally write reviews, but in this case I was compelled to write this one. A little background first. My system was 25 years old and had just been "repaired" by another company approximately 3 months ago. After "shotgun shotgunning " replacement parts (everything but the compressor), and waiting 4 weeks for a fan relay we now had ac but the heating function still was not working. Tried for 6 weeks to get them to come back but was told he was too busy with ac repairs to swing by. Searched for a new HVAC guy and called Owner Marcus of Strong Quality and 2 other companies and set up meetings with all 3. Immediately liked Marcus and decided to go with him for the Heatpump system replacement. Decided on the system (Trane) and the price and set up an installation date. Now it is June in NC and HOT AS AN OVEN! Marcus asked if he and his crew could start early because of the high heat (95 degress) which was NO PROBLEM with me and they arrived at 6am sharp! They had everything installed and completed with All functionality checked, both AC & Heat including auxiliary and emergency heat strip functions (remember the first guy's fix?). Also had the old analog thermostat replaced with a new digital one and it works perfectly and is a way more precise. Job was completed by 1 pm and after being without AC for so long I AM ONE HAPPY HAPPY CAMPER!! Our home is much more comfortable and the new system has a much higher volume of air coming out of the vents, which takes less time to cool down everything! I CAN NOT BE MORE PLEASED! Strong Quality and owner Marcus and his team are my HVAC company for life. I won't even consider anyone else. Prompt, Honest, Dependable and really reasonable on their pricing, but the biggest thing to me is I trust him and his Team! That trumps everything else. David H Clayton, NCshow more
