Most importantly, Jeff listened to what we were trying to accomplish then gave us some product brochures to read and review. Sandpiper Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC was one of seven contractors we solicited to give us a quote. Jeff's quote and presentation was the most professional and detailed, and the options he suggested as part of the replacement of our old system were what we had in mind. Jeff was at our home on three occasions to prepare a bid and survey the job. We had questions about the details of the work as compared to the other potential bidders. Jeff's proposal included most, if not all of the "extras" quoted by the others. Sandpiper replaced our old heat pump with a new Trane XL16i three ton, 16 SEER, with the Trane "Hyperion XL (TAM8) air handler and the Trane "Clean Effects" air filtration system, repaired and reconfigured the duct system to be more efficient, and added an additional three returns in our bedrooms. The price also included a top of the line Trane "Comfortlink II" internet compatible programmable thermostat that we can adjust using our computer or cell phone. We felt the total value of the package was well worth the product and service we received.
The job was completed in one day, and Jeff and the Sandpiper installation crew did an outstanding job with the installation of the equipment and the three new cold air returns. Also, the clean up afterwards was quick and thorough.
Jeff has followed up to insure total satisfaction with the products and service provided by Sandpiper.

"Our 7yr old HVAC system fizzled out over the weekend. I called Advanced Air at 8:30 am Monday morning and Ronnie fit us in the schedule. A lengthy diagnosis & multiple ways trying to save our unit proved fruitless. He patiently walked me through the problem and explained in detail/layman's terms what was wrong and the probable cause. Hard lesson learned as it turns out that we had not serviced our AC in ~18 months and we were so low on refrigerant that a line overheated and burned out the fan and the compressor. He even made sure to call me outside as he was draining the old unit to show me how low the refrigerant was. He called and got an excellent price on a new compatable system and installed it that afternoon working well into the evening to make sure it was installed and working correctly. Every interaction was polite and professional.  I have dealt with every level of contractor over the years and it is VERY rare to get this level of service, affordability and competence in a contractor. I have already scheduled my maintenance with Advanced Air and will gladly recommend him to friends and family."
