"We have evaluated foundations prior to repair and specified how the repair should be completed. After repairs are completed, we are often required to go back and verify that they have been completed correctly. "Review by Iris F. in Camden, SC Project: Repair a Concrete Foundation I had a unique problem with termite damage to an old Pier and Beam home. Damage was causing floor sagging and instability in the foundation of the home. (It failed several inspections). I was trying to sell the home and had to have the problem fixed. I had several estimates from general contractors in the Camden area. ALL of them wanted to fix the problem by going through the interior floors to get to the support beams. I did an online request to have an estimate from Canty Foundation. From the initial contact with William Yarbrough/Sales to the Onsite foreman Jonathan Driggers I was impressed. This is a 100 year old home and going thru the inside floors would have created damage that would have been difficult to fix. CANTY did all the work from the crawl space. They were professional and work was completed on time. The home passed all 3 inspections and I completed the sale. When you have a foundation problem I learned to call the experts. AMAZING job guys!!!!!"

"Initially I was visiting Angie’s List looking for a company to replace some siding on my house. While doing my search I came across Counts Contracting Company.  A friend recommended Counts Contracting company to me for paving my driveway because I am so satisfied with the results of this company I decided to submit this review.  Mr. Counts gave me a fair price and completed the job two days faster than promised. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work as well as the cleanliness of  his crew.  Mr. Counts was prompt returning my calls as well as finishing the driveway. Wow the driveway looks great!  "

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.

Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.
