"I really enjoyed working on creating my concert pathway and my patio re-sealing projects with the staff at Funscapes and would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in doing a project. My project was completed timely and it came out perfectly beautiful. I have received so many compliments from my neighbors who really love the pathway and how it turned out. I thought my stamped patio needed to be stained however we talked about resealing which is what they did and it looks brand new. This is a great company and everyone is very honest. "I’ve had difficulty finding someone to make repairs to my existing irrigation system. Everyone wants to install but not do repairs when a valve breaks or head needs replaced or there is a leak - seems to be a real shortage in the Hickory region of people who will do irrigation repairs. That was my problem until we found Austin with 828 Landscape. He is professional, a good communicator and is totally about finding the problem and fixing it. I almost hesitate to post this review because then he’ll get too busy to work on my system when I need him."

"J&C Hardscapes LLC did a fantastic job. Angi Gave me three references. A large company failed to respond. J&C Spent their time ministering what needed to be done. I had another company to come out. They gave me a price on the spot, I did not feel comfortable with their estimation. JNC took their time measuring and got back with me in two days. Their price was higher than the other company. I felt more comfortable with J&C Hardscapes. Carlos and his company did an excellent job installing the retaining wall. Once the wall was completed, it was perfectly constructed. One of their employees took pictures of his work because he was proud of it, To me that says it all. I would highly recommend J&C Hardscapes to anyone interested."

"I needed help with some shrub removal and planting in my front landscape, and got several quotes. I already had the plants, soil, fertilizer, and materials needed, but am not physically able to dig by myself. I had a means of disposing of the removed materials, so there was no haul-away included. Along with the planting, I needed to have a decorative stone wall repaired because it was starting to lean. Again, labor only. I was looking for a company that could do both. The bids for the planting work, which was straightforward and simple labor, were in the range of $400, except for New East Landscapes. Their price was much higher for the planting work, but they assured me they could do the planting within a couple of days and also repair the stone wall within 2 weeks for what seemed to be a very fair additional price. Because they seemed to know exactly what to do with the wall, and showed pictures of other projects they had done, I decided to pay the higher price so I could have one company complete both tasks. They emailed written quotes for the work, which I signed and returned. They told me the time they would come to do the planting work on Sunday, a couple of days later. The work on the wall would be done when they could fit it in, but within two weeks. On Sunday April 9, they arrived more than an hour late, so late that I was concerned they weren't coming. They did the planting work which took them less than 1.75 hours to complete. They clearly knew their plants, placed them where I asked, and the work was competent, but this job did not actually require 3 workers, which is what they brought. I paid them for that work and asked to schedule the wall repair. Xavier told me he would call me to schedule the time within two weeks and would find out the cost of a few stones that were needed to support the wall. He never called me back. I attempted to follow up with them by several phone calls, which went to voicemail that was not accepting messages. Also sent text messages and email. No response of any kind from them, and it has now been a month since they promised to return to complete the work. The wall is looking increasingly unstable and the work still needs to be done."
