The quality of their work was impressive and I doubt it can be matched. They showed me pictures of the completed project and they exceeded my expectations. Fast forward to today, I had Bay return to provide my one free jack adjustment to accommodate my flooring installers who recommended I level the floor more. Bay's team of Troy and Nate called before their arrival and were punctual. I knew the type of service I was going to receive and was not disappointed. The service truly feels like you're having your friend come do work for you. Troy made a recommendation for an additional jack that I was happy to accept because of the level of trust I have for the Bay associates. I was happy to be Troy's 1st sell! I look forward to working with Bay again here soon for the installation of the new jack and any future crawlspace needs. "This company was the only one who used a laser to measure the house for level for the estimate. The crew did an excellent job. The foreman, Augustin took the time to explain what they were doing and what the outcome should be. It was amazing to actually see the fireplace chimney move back against the house and feel the floor move inside when the hydraulic pressure was applied to the front of the house. The two man crew who applied poly to the den flooring was also pleasant and explained everything in detail. Again it was amazing to see the front wall move up to the ceiling as the poly was implemented. All around a fantastic job by all. We recommend JES to all who need that type of work done."

"We purchased a second home in North Carolina a few years ago. Unfortunately, what we could afford required quite a bit of work. Given that the second home was 6 hours from our primary residence, we knew we needed a contractor that we could trust to perform the numerous improvements this house desperately needed. Not being familiar with any contractors in North Carolina, I started my search with Angie's list. What immediately drew me to American Home Improvement was the fact that the owner, Mike Radan, not only had an A-list rating and many rave reviews, but that he had been in business for 30 years. Before we even purchased the house we wanted estimates for what we likely needed to spend in the immediate future. Our timing was bad in that the area had recently experienced a hurricane. When I called Mike he said he would be happy to provide me estimes but asked if it was ok if he got back to me in a few days because he was busy making post-hurricane repairs for his existing customer base. I respected that he was honest in setting my expectations but also that he was taking care of his loyal customers first. I am now proud to be on that list and Mike has recently helped me with two priority "damsel in distress" moments that as luck would have it, no one else was around to assist. Premiere customer service aside, Mike's craftsmanship and attention to detail are superior. Although we were not onsite to supervise during many of the improvements, Mike sent pictures and emailed or texted updates daily, it really felt as if we were there. Just the other day, when Mike was helping me with an emergency, I apologized as he was leaving for having to call him out after he had already been working that day. He responded with "absolutely no problem, you're family now", and that's exactly how it feels. If Mike is not too busy with the additional influx of work resulting from this glowing review, I have a long list of additional improvements I would like to have done this Summer! I would recommend Mike to anyone.

"Hargrove's did a good job of removing and replacing the roofing on my home. They arrived at the scheduled time and were completed in 2 days. They were not as organized at the start as I would have liked, ie not enough tarps to protect Heating and Air units and to control trash, but were efficient and steady so the work went well.  Overall, I was satisfied with the job and would use Hargrove's again for any home improvements. The crew was pleasant to deal with and worked hard to make the job go smooth.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

We called them and asked them to build a custom deck.  He came out and started our deck immediately and added benches and different levels.  He took our design and added to it and made our dream deck better that we could have imagined.

The price was better than we thought it would be.

"In September of this year my wife and I bought a home near Cedar Mountain. We had
a few things that we wanted to get done to the house before we moved in. From
Florida we researched contractors as well as through friends in our new
community. I was not prepared for the casual attitude of many of the workmen I
spoke with. Out of all of them, there was only one who showed up and did the
work as promised, Mr. Wade Morris. Despite having to drive and extraordinarily
long way to our home, Wade arrived every morning at 8:30 until the job was
done. I had to return to Florida but I left Wade a key to finish up. When I got
back to NC I was pleased to find the house clean and the work done to a high
standard of professionalism. Little extras, like painting the bedroom
baseboards (which was not part of our agreement) made me appreciate Wade and
Gaye all the more.
