"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"American Home Improvements & Remodeling completed the job under budget and ahead of schedule.  They began the work by removing all of the old worn out shingles and ridge vents and installing 30# felt underlayment.  After hoisting all of the shingles to the roof of the house, it was amazing how fast the crew were able to install all of the new shingles.  After most of the new shingles were in place, they installed new aluminum drip edge, new vents and new pipe collars.  The job site was also meticulously cleaned up after the work was completed.  We were surprised at the speed the company was able to complete the job from start to finish. 



Michael provided plenty of "before" and "after" pictures.  The before pictures helped us make informed decisions prior to initiating the work.  The after pictures were the show piece of the company's work. 



Michael also supervised all of the work throughout the entire process and explained how the new roof was going to be installed in great detail.  What was most impressing the most is his honesty and work ethics.  For example, there was excess material at the end of the job.  Unlike other contractors, Michael subtracted the cost of the excess material from the final bill.  Now that's being honest and ethical.



Mr. Radan also even went out of his way to ensure the work got completed ahead of time.  For example, the roofing supply truck had difficulties entering my driveway in order to hoist all of the shingles to the roof via a hydraulic lift.  Michael made sure the roofing supply truck was able to unload all of the supplies. 



We will certainly do business with American Home Improvements & Remodeling again and again.

"We initially called Mr Hargrove in August for an estimate on painting of the exterior trim, gutters, and around windows and doors, etc. on our two story brick house.  We were very impressed with his punctual call return and his punctual arrival for an estimate.  We needed the house pressure washed and scraped all around as the house had been neglected by the previous owners and needed serious work.  We liked his plan and his estimate and we decided on the spot to hire him and his company as there were many other things that were also going to be needed and we thought "this was our guy for anything that we need"  His crew showed up on the date and time specified and went to work immediately washing and scraping the exterior of the house.  They also had to remove all the storm windows for proper scraping and painting.  It was pretty hot, but his guys showed up every day and did a fantastic job.  We were and still are VERY impressed with the job they did and would hire them again in a minute!  During one particular nasty rain storm we noticed a serious leak in a couple of rooms and told James about it and he went right up on the roof and found where it had leaked and within the next few days, he had put on a new roof on that part of the house and it has not leaked since!  And the new shutters they installed look great!!  We have also had two of our neighbors stop by commenting on how good our house looks and wanted to know who did it and we happily gave them his number!  We are new to this area and we feel very fortunate to have found James Hargrove and his home improvement company and definitely plan on using them again!!

I would tell anybody if you have an house, you need to have them. They have been very good to deal with. They were very polite, and very professional. It took about three hours to complete. It was completely cleaned."
