Father son duo with over 20 years experience in most areas of construction and home maintenance. Certified in plumbing, electrical, hvac ,and facilities maintenance with knowledge based in many construction areas. Emergency services offered @ 336-6027895 7046789949

"They definitely fixed my problem. Outlets now work safely. However, they did not clean up leftover wires, screws, trash. Also, they cut into sheet rock without consulting me, covering with just tape and spackling, leaving 2 places with no sheet rock (when I sanded it tape went everywhere leaving a gapping hole). I now have to hire someone to fix this"

"My personal experience with this company was horrible. Deck replacement was done for me and I was left with unstable railing that moves when touched. The posts were installed incorrectly and sloppily. In most places the posts do not even make contact with the deck flooring. I am now having to hire another company to remove those posts and reinstall new ones correctly so they will be safe. The customer service that I was provided was atrocious."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

How do you set your well’s pressure tank? All you need to do is first drain the tank of water and find the pressure switch. Remove the switch cover and adjust the switch with a wrench—clockwise to increase water pressure, and counter-clockwise to reduce it. Each complete turn of the nut on the switch should equal 2.5 psi. Once this is done, replace the switch cover. All that’s left is to adjust the pressure of the tank itself using an air compressor and a tire gauge to support the new setting.

You should check water pressure twice a year to ensure there aren’t any irregularities and that it isn’t too high. It’s also smart to check it any time you notice symptoms of high water pressure (like banging pipes, inconsistent water flow, and leaky fixtures). Similarly, if you live in an area that’s prone to water pressure fluctuations due to municipal supply changes, elevation, or seasonal temperature shifts, check it more frequently. You can buy an affordable water pressure gauge and check the water pressure yourself.

Having a well means that a household’s water supply, including water that comes through faucets, showerheads, and appliances, is supplied through a private source rather than from a city. The well pulls fresh water from an underground water supply, such as an aquifer, and the well pump pushes the water from the well to your household.

Signs that your well is dry include a decrease in water pressure, strange odors coming from faucets, cloudy, bubbly, or discolored water, and water that’s warmer than normal. Signs that your well pump is bad are similar, but you may also notice higher-than-average electric bills, strange clicking sounds, and faucets that spit or sputter.

No, a bigger pressure tank has no effect on water pressure. To increase water pressure in your well water, gently adjust the tank’s pressure settings to a higher psi (pounds per square inch). If you’ve already done this, you can swap out your current pump for one with a higher flow rate, measured in gallons per minute (GPM). You can also call a pro to install a water pressure booster pump in your home plumbing system. If you experience fluctuations in water pressure, replace your current tank and pump with a constant pressure system.
