Affordable Septic and Grease Cleaning

We had an emergency on a Friday night at 830. They came out as promised, pumped the tank, charged $600 but only pumped one side of the tank. Promised to come back and pump the other side, but even after digging up and installing risers on both sides by us, they will not come back out to pump the other side. Will never use this company again. Appreciate the late night service, but not the follow up. Very dissatisfied.

guys did a great job with pumping tank but their old pump truck leaked oil and greese all over my driveway.i've been told by the owner that there's not much he could do but bring a pressure washer out and try to get it up.i've been using dawn detergent and scrubbing it rinsing with hot water.seems to have helped some.my advice to owner is get your truck fixed because next customer might not be this nice about it.

They tried to sell me thing I did not ask for, phone person said that was their job. No I will not call them again.

He was professional. The entire crew were very friendly and answered all of my questions (I asked a lot). They emptied both sides of the tank. He even gave me tips on the septic and pipes in the house.

I was very pleased wit the way they responded and took care of the problem.

Went well. Communication a little awkward. I have never had to do this before so I didn’t know what to expect. Men who showed up to perform the job seemed young and didn’t have much to say but they went right in and got the job done. I had no issues. It was a little more pricey because I had to have it done on a weekend instead of a week day. Overall I was pleased.

These guys did an outstanding job and was in and out in no time. I will only deal with Affordable Septic from now on. Highly recommended!!!

Our septic alarm went off a week or so ago and we ignored it (hoping it would miraculously reset or something as we knew it meant expense and we are seniors on a fixed income). We started getting a stink in the back yard around the septic and the toliets weren't flushing right so I called them about 1 pm today and they said they would be out within the hour and they were. My husband went out and watched as they worked. When they opened the tank to pump it, it was literally ready to start backing up into the house! We won't ignore an alarm again. They told us about how it generally backs up to the washing machine first and then to sinks, showers, tubs, etc. and that they had just had a lady that had that happen and threw away her washer because she couldn't get the smell out. We knew we were blessed to have avoided a very costly mess. They were fast, efficient and very friendly. I had paid nearly $500 to another company simply to replace my septic pump five years ago with no pumping of the tank. When Affordable removed it, it was a plastic pump which they informed us doesn't hold up very well. It was dead. After they pumped the tank and confirmed that the pump needed to be replaced, they had to make a trip to the supply house to get a new pump and return and install it. They were back and had the job wrapped up before 4:00 PM. It wasn't cheap, but was comparable to what projected costs were on Angie's List with this kind of project. They will definitely be the first guys we will call if we ever have issues again. We highly recommend Affordable Septic!!! Thanks guys!

All I can say is "thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" I live in Raleigh and my elderly parents are in Winston-Salem. They had been having trouble with their plumbing and were not able to get anyone to come and assist with pumping out the septic tank. They had called several companies and due to the age of the home and subsequent unit, not one would even come out and assess the problem. Until I had them to call Affordable Septic and Grease Cleaning. My parents called and the guys at Affordable Septic came right out. They dug where we thought the tank was, but it wasn't there, so the guys (Ken and crew) recommended a vendor who could find the location. Once the location was confirmed Affordable Septic came back out and completed the job. Everyone on the crew was respectable, courteous and professional. They stuck with my parents (I think it was 3 trips out in total) until the job was successfully completed. I cannot thank you enough. I highly recommend Affordable Septic and Grease Cleaning.

They contacted us from angie's list first so we hired them to clean out our septic tank. Long story short the tank was in bad shape and had to be replaced. We had to put the new tank in a different spot because it needed to be up to code. They quoted us a very good price and my husband specifically asked about possible overages. They said there would be none. The job turned out to be very complicated and they spent more time and used more resources than they expected. They charged us exactly what they said they would. They were outstanding!

They responded quickly and came out when they said they would. Neither I nor they knew where the septic head was. They brought a backhoe and started digging. Unfortunately knicked our propane gas line. They put it back together but we did have gas company come out and it was leaking some gas. Owner said we would get a partial refund for our costs for the gas company, but one never came.
