"There was no deck replacement. We were tasked with trying to adjust new railing and posts to a warped existing structure. The customer changed the scope of work 3 times which added $1800 in additional cost to the project which she refused to pay even though the changes were requested by her. She then tried to add additional work for free and when I refused she wouldn’t let us do the finish work on the project and she subsequently still owes $3500 that she refused to pay. I have initiated the lien process for collection. I offered a settlement as well as taking the handrails down and reducing the bill just to try and make her happy. She first told me to take them down and then when I scheduled to take them down she threatened to call the sheriffs department for trespassing. I have all this in writing. She repeatedly threatened to leave negative reviews when she didn’t get what she wanted and ruin my reputation. This is a miserable woman that cannot be pleased. May God be with you if you do work for her as she is unstable, combative and will not pay you."
