Valentine PaintingOf the several contractors I contacted for my project, Jim, owner of Valentine Painting, was the first to return my inquiry. He called promptly and introduced his firm and services. We quickly scheduled a time to come out to assess the scope of the work and he got in touch shortly afterward with pricing. He was willing and in fact encouraged other bids which I did get before making the decision to go with Valentine Painting. Throughout the entire process the communication was excellent, the painters were polite, efficient, and very respectful of my property. Jim followed up before and after each time they needed to come (multi day project). The entire process from start to finish exceeded my expectations and I would/will definitely hire again when I need further painting done. ELITE GARAGE DOOR SERVICE INCFrank and his wife serviced my garage doors and also re-programmed the remotes. He lubricated both doors, checked hinges, rollers, and springs. I thought I might need rollers but he said they were fine and he didn't want to sell me something I didn't need. It's tough finding friendly, professional, honest people these days to work on your home, autos, etc. I will definitely call Elite Garage Door again if I have any problems with my doors and will be recommending him to friends and family.- Reid L.

Garage Door GuruBack in January 2019 we had our old garage doors removed and two new custom doors ordered and installed. Garage Guru's have a wonderful program that will insert images of the doors you are thinking of into an image of your existing garage. Very, very helpful in making a good selection. Thank you Melinda for the help and Fred for the installation (on a cold and wet January day). There site in Fort Mill, SC has many examples that you can look at to get a better feel for construction, value and look. Everyone was helpful and eager to please. It's no wonder why they have won so many Angie's List Awards over the years. In May of this year I called to see if someone could come to look at one door guide rail that seemed to bow a bit when the door was opened. Mitch came down the next day and lubricated everything and agreed that a minor adjustment to the rail location was a good idea. It was done in 3 minutes and all for no charge. Called Precision Door on a Saturday (late) afternoon regarding our remotes suddenly not working. Matt, who had been to our house before, came out 1.25 hrs later. Matt diagnosed the problem and fixed it in short order. He was/is courteous, straightforward, knowledgeable and professional (hard to improve in that). I was quoted their basic $65 services charge when I called and that is what I was charged. Their high ratings are earned.

It went great. My door spring broke on Monday after 3pm, I called Frankies, and the repair person (Frank) arrived before Tuesday at noon! He was very professional and courteous, and was very respectful of our need to social distance and be safe. He replaced our single door spring with double door springs which were greatly needed and upgraded our door cables as well as the bearing end plates and center bearings. His work was of the utmost quality and he left the premises clean and tidy. I though his price was extremely reasonable. This is the second time I used Frankies (he installed a new door motor in 2015 - still running smooth and strong) and I will continue to use his services when needed.

Super smooth transaction and repair. Jeremy was the only garage door company to give me a quote via text which I appreciated very much. Several other companies didn't want to tell me a price over the phone and wanted to send someone out for a fee. That didn't sound right to me. Jeremy was prompt for the service call, spent about 45 minutes replacing the springs, and the cost was exactly what he told me it would be. Can't get any easier or better than that. I'll be calling Open Up Garage Door the next time my door needs servicing.

Overhead did a great job replacing our door and tracks. We have used them a number of times for garage door repairs, i.e. replacing broken springs, but it was finally time to do the whole door. We tried to shop agiven the cost,, but couldn't even get other companies to respond early in COVID. Overhead performed the work as promised, for the quoted price, and did quality work. The crew was pleasant and professional. You may find some a little cheaper, but they do good work for the price. Plan to continue using them.
