I have used this company on three different occasions.  They came to all three locations on the day they were contacted.  Just great customer service.

Mitch answered the phone, knew exactly what my problem was, gave me a quote over the phone, scheduled the service, showed up on time and performed the work very professionally.  He completed the job and provided us with some good maintenance advice.  We would use Mitch again for any future garage door services without hesitation.

I phone A1 Carolina Garage Door Service after another company was a now show for two days straight. Mitch answered and said he could be here between 12:00 and 2:00PM. Her arrived at 12:30 and repaired my garage door. He was both polite and professional. His work was outstanding. I will be using his company from this point on for any garage repairs needed.

When my electric garage door would not open I found A1 Garage Door on Angie's List. I called them at 5:45 p.m. and spoke to Mitch, telling him I had a car inside the garage and needed to get it out. To my great suprise he said he would come out within a couple of hours. He showed up one hour later and saw that my problem was a broken spring. He did not have the right size spring with him but helped me manually raise the door so we could get the car out. He came back the next day at 6:00 p.m., which was great for me since I didn't have to take time off from work, and replaced thedoor springs. Great customer service and good work at a fair price.

Mitch came out right away (same day) because my other opener quit unexpectedly. Great guy, very friendly and
professional. Fair price. I would recommend him to my friends.

Great response by the owner. Called in the morning at 8:30 AM, since we could not take our cars out of the garage. By 12:10 PM the service team was at our location.
The spring/coil was fixed within the hour. the garage door and opener lubricated.
Great service and I only can recommend them again.
Will purchase my new Garage Door opener from them in the near future.

Great Great Company. I called on a Monday afternoon and made an appointment. Mitch was very flexible. Arrived as promised, examined the situation and had my garage door working better than when it was built. I have had other garage companies work on different repairs in the past, but I will definitely be calling A-1 for all my future needs.

I was so embarrassed about breaking my own garage door, but Mitch was so nice. He came right over on a Saturday and fixed the door. He didn't try to sell us a new door or anything extra. He got the job done quickly and was very kind and professional. The door actually works better than before. I would definitely recommend him!

After checking Angie's List I called A1 and talked to Mitch.  He came out in 2 hours and in addition to replacing the broken cable, I had  him replace the other cable, a spring, both pulleys and rollers.  The door is 19 years old and I decided to have him replace it all so I wouldn't have another problem with it.
Mitch did a great job.  He was prompt and a good value.  I would definitely recommend him.

My garage door broke and these guys came out right away, gave me a fair estimate, and took care of it within a few hours. Awesome.

I called A1 Carolina Garage Door Services about a garage
door that had been binding on and off for several months.  Mitch came right away, realigned the
track and replaced the track rollers, which fixed the problem.  He also tightened the hinges, lubricated
the hardware, and gave me advice about maintenance.  Everything was thoroughly done in a highly professional
way.  (When my aging garage door
opener needs to be replaced, I will definitely be calling A1 Carolina Garage
Door Services again.)

He did a very good job.  He arrived on time and fixed it as promised.

I called first around 8 am and Mitch was over by 9:30. He was very professional, and performed the work promptly. There was no pressure to replace my 20 year old opener, but I did have him provide some quotes while he was on location.

This morning I accidentally backed my car into the garage door, It knocked the door off the railing and I was unable to get the door open or closed with the opener.(it was about 2 feet up when I hit it). I called Mitch and he was out to my home in less than 2 hours.  I was fully expecting to get the "you need a new garage door" pitch, but I was pleasantly surprised when he went to his truck brought back a few tools and put the door back on the track. He also did some basic maintenance for us and checked the springs! Left a brochure of an opener and quoted us the price for a new opener, but said we really didn't need it. No high pressure sales pitches from this guy!  Totally professional and very reasonably priced!  I would totally recommend him and his company to anyone!

Mitch was very prompt and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He wasn't able to fix the door that day because he needed to get the parts, but came back the following day/time as promised.  He had to come back a third time to do a minor adjustment on the door because there was a small slit of light where the door didn't meet the ground.  In all fairness, by the time Mitch finished the job, it was pitch dark so this oversight was not obvious.  Would definitely recommend A1 to anyone.  Thanks!

We were going to leave our house one Saturday morning and it wouldn't open.  I signed onto Angie's List and searched for someone that was close to our area.  Mitch from A1 was rated very high and also had a coupon.  We called him, he came over that same day and fixed the door.  We also had him come back the next weekend and upgrade our garage door unit from 1/3 HP to 1/2 HP.  Mitch did a great job!.  We will use him again in the future and will recommend him to others.

Mitch is a refreashing person to know, he actually under-promises and over-deliveres! I would recommend Mitch to you. He is extremely customer focused, wants to pease his customers.

I called A1 Carolina Garage Door Svcs and spoke directly to Mitch. Within an hour he was at the house repairing the garage door. He was highly professional, reasonably priced, quick to the residence, and performed high quality work. I highly recommend his services.

They were very responsive because I needed it done fairly quickly which was one of the reasons that they charged me so much. They were pretty abrupt and straight to the point and there was no nonsense with what they did and with the guys. They did the job that they had to do and they got out of here. I tried a couple of service providers and no one could make it real quick, but there were no problems and they fitted into the schedule. I would recommend people to shop around if they have time for a better price as I didn't have much of a choice.

The servicer responded quickly and gave a specific time when he would arrive. He arrived as scheduled, repaired cables in an hour or so and explained what had happened to the original cables. He left our garage neat and was polite and friendly.
