I called a few friends to get a referral for a garage door issue. Two friends said to call Cox. My garage door had been “warped” and finally it got bent out of shape to where I need a new door. The phone person said a service charge to come out would be $140. I told the two guys who came out I wanted to order a new system/door. They offered to fix the door where it would open and close (no longer automatic) until the new door could arrive. A brace (one piece of sheet metal) was placed across the old door so it would open and close. 30 mins and the brace resulted in $340 bill which I paid debit card.. afterwards I called back to the service writer and complained about the price for a temporary fix. He did not seem to be the one to handle a customer complaint regarding the price so I ask that the owner call me. The owner never called me which tells me he doesn’t care about his customers or is too whimpy to listen to a concern. Knowing I was ordering a new door and installation from Cox I expected a better price for a temporary repair in less than 30 minutes. I will not recommend Cox Door Company Inc to anyone. If the owner refuses to handle a problem for a customer I can find someone else to finish the job which I did and was treated more than fair….. price and service!

Great job. I called them five minutes before closing and they got somebody to my house the next day. My garage door could not close as the spring and lift mechanism became undone. Everything was fixed in no time. Good folks. Very professional.

These folks don't play games. They helped me diagnose the problem on the phone within 2 minutes, and they gave me a fair quote immediately thereafter. Then they showed up on time, finished the work quickly, and charged me a little less than they quoted me. This company is like a well-oiled machine.

Taylor came the first time and repaired a fraying cable. Our system was old and the motherboard, that activated remotes, was dead. The springs were mismatched because the former company had added a second spring that did not match the first. The door did not operate quietly and smoothly, either - lurching upon starting up and squeaking during movement. Given all of these issues, we decided to replace everything except the door to ward off future problems. Taylor did not charge us for the first call, but instead, logged it as a sales call. Taylor and his co-worker, Matt, came back for the system upgrade because my husband's garage is really crammed, making repairs difficult. The two of them worked together and replaced the system in less than two hours. Both Taylor and Matt were very professional and answered the questions we had. They switched out the new remotes to key chain versions from visor clip-on ones, when we expressed security concerns with the latter. My husband and I would be very comfortable recommending this company to anyone needing garage door repairs or replacement.

After asking about the problem, they talked me through some basic procedure and it fixed itself without a service call. This is obviously an exception but speaks to their integrity. I would call them 1st next time.

Purchased two new Lift Master garage door openers from them and they installed. Called them on a Monday and they had them installed next day. Scott their installer is excellent! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for garage doors/openers or general repair.

Scheduling was a breeze... flexible around our schedule and available just a few hours after our call. The technician corrected the primary issue and a minor issue as well. He inspected the door and opener. The price was very reasonable for the high level of service. We highly recommend them!

Called in late morning. Cox showed up by 3:00PM. Repaired damaged door perfectly & adjusted opening mechanism so all was restored to working order within one hour. Cost was $200! Glad I got their 2nd opinion! Highly recommend for a professional,responsive, honest door service.

I called Cox on Saturday afternoon. Didn't expect a call back till Monday, which I got at about 7:45 AM Monday morning. I let them know my garage door wasn't opening and was only lifting up about 18 inches. From a little online research, I told them I thought my spring broke, so please come quote & fix. They said they could be there between 8:00—8:30 AM, I agreed. Matt showed up around 8:20 AM and finished the work in about 45 minutes. Garage door opener is working perfectly and is quieter than EVER. Matt was friendly & professional and worked FAST to fix my garage door and for a reasonable price. I will call Cox again 100%, if I ever have another garage door issue. GREAT work Cox, I'm impressed.

We've used Cox Door for a number of issues and when it came time to replace our original garage door, they came in with the low bid.  Installation was on time and expertly executed.

From the first contact until the work was done, the communication was outstanding. I'm a primarily-email-kind-of-person and they honored that. It was easy to select a door, I got great feedback when asking questions and opinions, and the install was way faster than expected. It took about 2 weeks for the door to come in after order, and the door was installed and operating within a couple of hours. Pricing was reasonable and the whole staff was super friendly. Also, after the sale, part of the trim was drooping and they came out right away to make it right. I highly, highly recommend. (pictures are before and after)

Cox Door Company does great work. I recently accidentally backed into my garage door. It looked pretty bad. It was complete off track, rollers were broken, etc. They came out, assessed the damage and had it fixed within an hour for only $126! They also did some preventive maintenance on the door and it works and sounds better than before. Great work!

I came home from work one day and the garage door would not open. After waiting a reasonable amount of time for a return call from another company, I found Cox Door Company and was able to get an appointment for the next day! From the initial phone call to completion of the work, the level of professionalism was excellent! Scott arrived on the front end of the scheduled window, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed the problem. He replaced the 16' shaft, a pair of drums, a pair of 8' cables, a pair of end bearings, and a center bearing plate. A very high level of professionalism and service from a company I will use again if needed!
